of course it was his twitter comments that took his skill away had nothing to do with kiki coming in

I now you're joking, but if you consider the circumstance i think that may be the best option this team has right now. I can elaborate if you wish.

I was joking, but I definitely wouldn't mind us getting AK. I like him a lot as a player. It's a shame that injuries have plagued him. But yea, please elaborate on why you think he may be the best option. I'd like to hear it.

To sum it up. The most likely scenario is that we draft a PF, using a top 3 pick on a guy like that means he is the future, so giving out 5 years contracts to other PF this summer is out of the question. Those were our #1 targets. Now the #1 goal should be filling the SF spot. Lebron is not an option, JJ is not worth the contract he will get, so the only option is Gay. Is it better to lock up Gay long term and risk not having a chance at Melo next year? I think getting a worthy temp is the best option, which is AK.

If that was the case I would absorb AK for the 9th pick, but I don't know that I see Utah doing that. Not absorbing AK for free though, that's absurd, we could put that cap room to use for picks and young players on rookie contracts by absorbing other players on teams over the tax.

Does this also mean that Yi is getting traded?

Yi sucks, I think the team would trade him for a pair of matching socks if they needed the cap space for a reason.

So he's good @ destroying but not rebuilding.Agreed and the only reason Twill picked his game up was because RT threatened to send him to the Dleague lol

I dont know. Maybe we do hate him to much because of the scum back that he is. His obsession with Yi, the back door deals undermining Frank that lead to him getting fired. And the totally pointless year as a head coach. Other then that, i think he did a pretty good job.

The only way he stays is as a shooter off the bench, which about all he is good for.

Good Points. Let's see if Thorn is thinking this way now. I'm sure we'll only look at this option deeper into free agency.

You can say that, but considering how spotty KMart's medical record was before going to Denver, I can't give Kiki much of a pass for that one.

You might not have predicted quite the quantity of severe knee injuries, but expecting 72-75 games a year over that contract was extreme wishful thinking.

Overall Kiki was okay at best, but his horrid job faking a head coach in the NBA takes the cake...and thats what I'll remember him most during his Nets tenure...

It was more in Kmarts defense I guess. :D
