Meanwhile, rumors of "King James" shopping for a home in Highland Park are not true, a source close to James told the Tribune. The source said James was not even in town.

Utah could stay under the luxury tax and might even be able to resign Korver (although that could get difficult). We would have to make that pitch to Utah right away. I would throw in a future draft pick as well.

BULLS
Rose/ Kirk
Kirk/ shooter/ draftee
Lebron/ JJ
Boozer/ Taj
Noah/ Asik? / vet

UTAH:
DWill/ Price
Miles/ Matthews/ Korver?
Deng/ AK47
Millsap/ AK47
Okur/ Koufos/ Fesenko

Maybe the Suns will agree to take ob Deng, considering their starting SF is like 40 years old and everything.

Don't see the Bulls trading Deng for Boozer. They didn't want to deal Kirk last year according to KC when he was a 6th man entering the season. On top of that, due to the lack of inclusion of Bayless, the Bulls were reluctant to deal Kirk and Tyrus for Boozer. Tyrus isn't here, wasn't in our long-term plans, and bascially again it was no Boozer for Kirk.

The Suns have no one IMO the Bulls would want for Deng. I personally would love to deal Deng for Boozer or Millsap. In a dream scenario, a deal I proposed many times in the past -- a variation of it is Boozer and AK47 for Deng and either Kirk or someone else. Under this scenario, I'd be fine with Joe Johnson being signed.

Very well said. The only thing that's telling about it is the fact that Bulls fans are actually understanding of the fact that we won't be able to move Luol Deng if we do get LBJ. It has nothing to do with some type of infatuation with Deng.

I wouldn’t say it’s an impossibility, but it is probably unlikely. Which… assuming the Bulls are willing to spend upon signing Lebron.. isn’t the worst thing in the world. The guy’s a pretty solid player and you can never have too many of those.

I am very curious about Deng. There are a lot of teams under the cap. If he was a FA, he would be the second best SF on the market, and I think he would get paid. And his contract now is not the five years they would have to sign him for.

Part of me thinks he will be tough to move, and part of me thinks that one of the many teams under the cap can use him.

I don't see the Bulls moving Deng or Hinrich unless they are sure they are receiving an elite talent in return -- LeBron, Wade, Bosh, and possibly Joe Johnson from all we've heard.

I think teams such as Washington, and Minny may have interest in him. Minny is our best bet IMO, and that's if they don't draft Wesley Johnson. Otherwise, I don't see it happening. I was hoping for Minny to get the #2 pick -- land Evan Turner, and only have a void at SF.

I could see Washington trading Al Thorton for Luol Deng. The Wizards have the capspace. The Wiz will also want to create a new level of sportsmanship on the team because currently they are the new jailblazers. Surround Wall with good guys. That is where Deng comes in - won sportmanship award two years ago. Chicago can then go and sign Allen.

Wiz
Mcghee
Blatche
Deng
Arenas
Wall

Bulls
Noah/Asik
Taj/
Lebron/thorton/JJ
Allen/Hinrich
Rose/Hinrich

Maybe Patrick Patterson will fall to us in the draft (some mocks are predicting it).

Its garbage, because anyone that would know would get a quote from James himself

Agreed on all counts, and if say they just sign Lee or Boozer outright, as their 'move(s)', I think they should keep Deng.

Ford is saying that Minny will try to move up to grab Turner at 2 hypothesizing that Philly would be open to such talks considering they already have Iguodala.

Heard the same. 76ers insider is saying the pick will be Turner. They were hoping for a miracle pre-lotto and wanted him. They got lucky and they are ecstatic to draft him. Thaddeus is the player they would trade between him and Iggy. I live in Philly -- the talk of Turner is huge (relative to their excitement to any other draft). And I am near the 76ers practice facility often and people are talkin' Turner. I don't see them trading it for anyone unless someone gives them young talent and takes away all their bad contracts. That sad, Doug Collins sees Brand as his PF if he is to be the coach.
