SHAQ In Houston,TX

Post#1 » by HoustonRockets » Thu May 20, 2010 6:35 pm

At the Galleria yesterday around 3p,m, and SHAQ was there walking his fat ass around slurping on an ICEE. I asked if he was gonna play for the Rockets next season, and all he said was "I don't know yet, we'll see."

Just thought I'd let y'all know.

BTW he was there with Ariza.

Shaq could be a real option for the Rockets IMO, if Yao extension talks continue to deteriorate.

Shaq @ 3 years, MLE > Yao @ 6 years, $90mil

He's not washed up at all and should not consider retiring.

Shaq owns a house here in Houston (I think that the mother of his daughter lives in it); and he comes to town, stays at the Marriot in the Galleria & shops a few times a year.

The fact that I know this makes me realize that I need to get out more...

If he's willing to come for about 3 million per I'm cool with it. If that's not enough them I would rather draft a backup. I don't want to commit to anything beyond next year with him either.

Don't see how Shaq would work with our uptempo bench squad. Also don't see why Shaq would choose us if hes ringchasing.

He's not good at all, but I would take him as my starting center over Chuck Hayes any day of the week.

I'd welcome him with open arms if he took the vet min.
