It's also worth pointing out that Kelenna Azubuike had nearly identical numbers (including 3 point %) the year before. When he got injured Morrow took his minutes.

I like him too, wouldn't give him MLE though because he's older and less healthy

I'd take a look at him but not for the full MLE. Players coming out of that system can't be trusted. Look at Marion, yea he's still a very nice player but he isn't the same since he left the suns.

I think Morrow is one guy the FO is looking at picking up once the dust has cleared on the top tier guys.

It's apparant that we need shooting and defense on the wings. Morrow semi-provides that. I just don't want to overpay for bench players and role players until we have some go to guys and a system that produces wins in place.

I like Morrow, but I don't know what he does for this team long term. Sure, he'd net us a few more wins, but we'd still be far from playoff contention. Is he a 6th or 7th man on a contending team? I'm not sure about that either, and we are so far from contending that I don't know how Morrow for anything more than what another team would give him would really help us.

I found it amusing that he doesn't want to spend the $ on Darko, and is still drinking the Al and Love can play together kool-aid.

Also interesting that he'd rather sign Morrow to 5 yr 25 mil, than Gay to a contract because we'd be over paying and Memphis would match.

Wouldn't that be a good thing? Mess up their cap...

Memphis had no problem screwing Portland by playing Darius Miles.
