Tyrson is way better then Curry. Bill Walker is a great player if you are putting together a D league team. Pass.

Don't see the point of a guy like Bill Walker while we already have Derrick Brown on our team. The only difference between the two is minutes and slightly better defensive play by Walker.

Walker has a much larger hype train.

Re: Trade Idea With The Knicks
Nobody wants Eddy Curry. Nobody....
Enough of this "he played well for LB" and "when healthy..." stuff. If we trade for him he'll do nothing but take up a roster sport and sit at the end of the bench in a suit. Chandler has his issues, but he's certainly better than that.
The Knicks have been trying to pawn him off to the rest of the league for years without success. Remember when Crash for Eddy was a "done deal?"
Walker looked promising last year but lets not over sell it. He wasn't overwhelmingly good, and it was over 20-30 games on a bad team when the intensity level on the court may not have been the highest.

I want Eddy Curry.
Even if he sits at the end of the bench, it's still a contract that expires and an excuse to play Ajinca. It's even an excuse to play Diop some.
At worst, we deal his contract by February (or gain the salary space when it expires) and if Walker doesn't pan out here, he's still worth a late first / early second.
I think Curry makes a million less than Chandler too, which would help if we want to resign Felton and Thomas.

Tyson makes $12.6 mil. Eddy makes about $11.3 mil, and Bill Walker makes just short of $900,000. So we would save $400,000, roughly. Switching out a player who can still play for "Fat Bastard" from Austin Powers and a player who will have hard time getting minutes under Larry Brown.
Horrible deal.
