Welcome back to earth, Mr. Gregg.

It was bound to happen. Gregg has been excellent statistically this season, but he simply is not that good. Regression was inevitable. Let's just hope he puts up at least 2 more good months so the Jays could trade him for something.

Gregg has blown lots of saves in the past. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. He was 2nd BS in 2008 and 4th last year.

I do love how quickly things change around here. April:

+1

Frasor sucks.

I've never been a Frasor fan. Last year was a fluke. Guy doesnt have the mind to be a fulltime closer.

Yeah...Frasor shouldn't be our closer.

If Gregg was in right now, the game would be over.

Can we make Gregg the closer yet?

I know it's just 2 games (I think) but Tallet should not be starting and Frasor should not be closing.

One thing we have to do is not let Frasor close for us. Have Downs/Gregg close and Frasor set-up and we should be better off.

OK, I don't want to see Frasor close another game. We could have been 8-0 with Gregg...

gregg is now the closer...nice

yea downsy has been havin a tough year thus far. I for one would be surprised if Philly was still lookin at him as the setup man...

Downs just hurt his trade value today. :(

If i see Downs pitch and any of these games theres going to be trouble for Cito

Besides the only people that should be coming out of the pen are Frasior, Camp, Downs and Mr. Gregg and in that order.

our best reliever is gregg, its really not even close right now.

Sorry but Downs isn't good enough to not be in the "what have you done for me lately?" category and this year Gregg has outperformed him by a large margin.

In summation, you all suck.

Kevin Gregg's renaissance may be ending...2 bad outings in a row. Couldn't expect him to be an elite reliever all year.

Haha, had the one ready, did you?

Fans are most certainly fickle.

These are the kinds of losses I'm accustomed to as a Jays fan. It had to happen eventually.

Gregg is our best option. And surely we can't expect him to be perfect.

Downs is the best reliever in the pen, but I'd rather have him setting up anyway.

I take full responsibility folks. I haven't watched a Jays game in a while (I couldn't watch last weekend's games on Cogeco), and yesterday I was just following the game on my Blackberry and a bit on the radio while driving. Even when I got home, still just checking the BB. When it was going to the bottom of the 9th, I figured I should tune in to see the AL leader in saves.

And even as things slowly started falling apart, and I knew I should turn off the tv because I was bad luck......I just kept watching. Right to the end, to see Griffey's sweet stroke. And yes, I turned off the tv right after the game ended. Sorry.

You hate to see your closer give up a 2-run lead, but these things happen in a 162-game season.

Gregg has been pretty good thus far. It's far too early to be calling for his head.

We're still 7 games above .500 and one back of the wild card. Let's keep enjoying this surprising start...
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
