he's remedial and makes absolutely no sense. either he's 14 and has little understanding of things or is mentally handicapped, i see no other explanation for his reasoning.

The power of wishful thinking.

I don't think he'd be here if he was not worried about the Knicks.

He should keep his wishful thinking on his board, like we do ;)

If the Raptors love Noah and are willing to take Hinrich with him, as well as James, then I suppose this guy's plan has some chance. But I don't think it's a great chance. I don't think BC will think that keeping Noah is such a great chance. They can control him only as a RFA and Noah grew up rich -- if he doesn't want to play in Toronto, which is distinctly possible, he'd simply take the QO and leave after one year. The Raptors could also just bid for Noah after a year if he is willing to play there. Why take on Kirk's bad contract if they can just try to sign him? So their plan has holes for sure.

Most all of this depends on where LeBron *prefers* to play and I think NY has a good case to make to him.

We'll seeeeeeeeee.

If he prefers Chicago, they have the edge. I'm suspect of that. If he prefers NY, which he's basically made as clear as he can without saying it, then we will be in the driver's seat.

Honestly I'd personally take Noah over Lee but Lee's value is also a factor in all this and he might be willing to play in Toronto. This guy (boy?) didn't take into account Lee as a possible trade chip, as strong as Noah potentially to BC. The other thing is that we have Chandler too and I don't think Walsh will let LeBron and Bosh go to Chicago over Wilson do you? I don't. Wilson has more value than James Johnson (a lot) and more than Kirk and Deng on bad contracts. So we have flexibility for a S&T too.

But most importantly, what I like most about or position is that we don't need to rely on a team like the Raptors with a strange GM like BC. We can just sign two guys outright, which gives us a lot of power in this negotiation.

That and LeBron still preferring NY puts us in nice position. Doesn't *necessarily* guarantee us anything (unless Walsh has gotten some concrete inside word), but we have our ducks lined up :)

LeBron James will leave, says former NFL great Jim Brown

Jim Brown poses during the Cleveland Browns training camping in 1958.The greatest running back in NFL history, Jim Brown, said in a recent radio interview that LeBron James will leave Cleveland because of the way he has been treated by the public.

Brown told radio station WVIE-AM that he didn't like the backlash James has received since the Cleveland Cavaliers were eliminated from the playoffs.

"You know, it's so unfortunate that a man that's got so much would feel so bad right now because of what he couldn't do. I think he's being treated unfairly,'' Brown said. "I think the expectations were too high, and I don't think he's gonna stay in Cleveland because of it. I think as one man, there's only so much you can do, and for people to analyze you and to basically say humiliating things about you, when you've given all those things through the years to that franchise, I think it's an atrocity.''

Another, possible fatal blow to Cleveland LMAO

I respect it but don't fully understand it. Tell me more ... what are the rationals of the mind of someone who does not want LBJ? Not asking aggressively, I'm really curious on this subject.

Wow, you don´t hear such "non-offending" words on this board after not being on the same page with people.

Well, even after watching a decade of losing, my goal for this team is still not just to get the best players to win the most games and eventually a ship, regardless how. I want to cheer for my team, not for winning it all, but for competing, fighting, hustling and I just find it hard to cheer for guys whose characters (as far as I can say anything about their characters) I don´t like. Serious? I´d rather have some "nice" guys on my team and maybe only reach the semifinals than go all the way with some divas or dragqueens.

Man, I really liked Ewing, Spree, Houston, Camby, LJ, Ward...

That's an interesting perspective. I'm the complete opposite way. I don't care if we sign the devil as long as it results in the Knicks winning a championship.

But what´s the point then being a fan if you don´t really like the players? I just wanna have some fun watching the games, seeing the guys compete. I mean, a ship ain´t worth nothing to me, if I cannot identify with the players at all.

Hey, but that´s just me.

I'm the same way as the OP; I'd root for the Devil if it would mean wins. Because it's just sports.

But more than that, I don't see LeBron as a bad guy. MJ and Kobe have done a lot more to show me that they're spoiled and bad character guys than LeBron. LeBron is a nice guy. All superstars have that level of entitlement. But as far as superstars go, LeBron is a decent human being from what we know.

I don't like his pre-game antics but I also don't find them to be an attempt to rub it in people's faces either. He's having fun.

MJ was all about trying to kill his opponent and was alternately mean spirited and lame in the process.
