I got blasted by 2 or 3 posters a couple months ago for saying Wall is at least an inch taller than Rose. Those guys might want to step up now.

You sure did. I still think the idea of being able to tell from a TV was absurd but you were right

:D That's character (no relation to Derrick - btw, I was impressed that he's lost a lot of weight - I am the king o tangents.) to admit that.

Pretty impressive wingspan and standing reach for Wall as well which could help him develop into a big time defender in the NBA.

Yeah, one of the first things he said to the DC press was - he wants to be - and thinks he can be - a great defender. As a Wizards fan, that's a breath of fresh air - and something we're not used to.

I s'pose, but he's a MUCH better rebounder than Curry ever was.

Thats true but I think this is a comparison that will be made and will scare some teams off.

Dexter Pittman certainly took advantage of the combine, 6'11, 7'6 wingspan and 9'3 standing reach, if he watches the weight that's a legit backup center in the NBA

Nobody talking about Favors. Legit 6'10 in shoes, with a standing reach of 9'3, absolutely obscene for a PF, especially when considering his 35-40" vertical (guessing). Chances are he becomes the best defensive player from this draft.

Agreed. The solid 6'10" is taller than many expected - combined with excellent length and then the athleticism we already know about - solid showing for Favors. He's locked in to the 3 or 4th slot anyway, so I'm not sure how helps in the draft itself, but bodes well for his NBA future, for sure.

I doubt they pick Cousins, he's a terrible fit next to Lopez.

These measurements could help Favors and Cousins challenge Turner for that second spot. Cousins has size, skill, and athleticism. He is a little chunky so teams will have to really measure if he has the work ethic to keep his weight in control. If right now you said Cousins would get in better shape. I would say he would be the best player in the draft. If he can replace some of that fat with muscle he will be a dominate player. Poor work ethic is the only thing that could slow him down because he will be to0 big and skilled for most centers in the league. If he goes to NJ and plays PF he would just abuse almost every PF in the league. For him to play Pf he will have to get that body fat down. NJ could have Cousins to go with Lopez. That would be 2 big men with 9'5 standing reaches. In terms of size the Nets would be as big as the Lakers.

The problem is that neither Lopez nor Cousins are going to be capable of defending NBA 4s out on the perimeter. And both Lopez and Cousins need to work out of the post, they don't complement each other on offense. That frontcourt would be too slow defensively and have poor spacing on offense. Favors makes a lot more sense next to Brook.

Ibaka doesn't have 1/10 the talent Favors has.

Man, Dexter Pittman, Craig Brackins, and Larry Sanders have huge hands. The difference between Whiteside's hand width and hand length is pretty strange. I think Udoh is the only prospect who's hands are longer than they are wider.
