Is starting to look like laziness?

I'm all for not rushing into picking a coach but we have the small issue of a draft coming up.

I would like us to go out and get a coach as soon as possible, but there's a possibility that our coach could still be coaching at the moment in either an assistant position or maybe even in a head coaching position :wink:

The reasoning that the organization has given lately is they don't want a coach to interfere with the drafting process. They say they want to draft BPA whereas a coach may come in and want need over BPA. I understand that a coach and GM could bump heads over that, but I think that is a weak excuse. There are other teams that may wait until Free Agency to sign a coach, and I just hope that we don't wait too long. We need someone legit that the players are going to respect.

I'm also hoping that we can sign a coach soon and that we don't get stuck with a lousy one.
