miss cleo predicted lebron to the wizards

Post#1 » by BruceO » Sat May 22, 2010 10:39 am

miss cleo made a seemingly laughable prediction that lebron james will be a wizard this season.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swQOV3KH ... r_embedded

funny thing is I see the date on the video is april 14th way before we overcame odds to win the lotto and probably draft John Wall who is very close to Lebron James and is even associated from a business stand point with him. Now Wall is going to be on a team with Gilbert Arenas who Lebron saw destroy people last summer. Wall is also going to be on the same thing with Andray Blatche who has what it takes to outplay KG. Andray Blatche will be our KG, Lebron will be our Pierce, Wall will be our Rondo and Gilbert Arenas will be our Ray Allen

what are the odds considering we have a seemingly good young team, the cap space and the fact that Leonsis is apparently also friends with Lebron. To the extent he even introduced lebron to a star struck Ovechkin. Why can't Lebron to the wizards happen? I'd actually find it very funny and would love to rub that into cav fans faces if this happens cause he was their whole team.

What are the odds and can they be overcome like we overcame the lotto odds?

I'm giving it about 10.3% odds.

http://www.truthaboutit.net/2010/05/its ... of-it.html

odds just went up to 10.31
i still have a man crush on cousins mr bynum 2.0 . Leonsis is a stats guy and said you are what your numbers say you are. With a guy with no 1 in per for last eight years who put up crazy numbers coming in. A guy who can give us the unbelieveable length the lakers are using to defeat everyone through Bynum, Odom and Gasol. I kinda feel Leonsis might not give miss cleo her vision of a lebron..john wall dc bromance. Seriously though if i was a psychic i would not make tv predictions or i might be wrong. She has a reputation to uphold she better be right or we'll go to the tape.
If Leonsis drafts cousins i'd say he has balls. Wall apparenly is defensively weak and the person on the team to stop is Cousins. Any could make a good pick.

My point is we should call miss cleo for a free reading to ask her who we should pick

Bahhah hope thats the only reason you think lebron is going to the wizards.....Would be the dumbest decision of his life if he went there. Would prolly barely make the playoffs if at all

This is too funny!! All of the hate on Lebron when he was a Cavalier and now all you see on this board is Lebron as a Wizard. I see now you all were jealous of Cleveland for having Lebron! I hope he stays in Cleveland!!

It would be like we traded Antawn Jamison for Lebron and a first round pick since it's AJ's salary we cleared to make room for the Queen. Best trade ever?

I DO hate Lebron and hope he never plays for this franchise, but the potential to stick it to Cavs fans over and over might sway me. Then again, they are all bandwagon nut huggers anyways and would just become Wiz fans. Nah, I don't want to be associated with those clowns. No queen.

Meh. My opinion of LeBron as a person would not change whether he's a Cleveland Cavalier, a Washington Wizard or a member of any other team.

But I can't let a dislike for a player's character come between this franchise and a championship. There are a lot of players in this league who have serious flaws to their character but at the end of the day, I want to watch a great team play and win. LeBron joining the other talents on this team would allow for that.

Really? Cause it's like Lebrons supporting cast right now is sooo good. Shaq is too old and will never be able to defend the pick and roll, Z is too old, Jamison as we know here is awesome but can't play D. Your guards are too short. Your coach might get fired and you guys didn't even make it to the ECF getting beat by a Boston team we owned.

Humour me and tell me this, outside of Lebron which guards or even players on your team are better than John Wall? Which guards pr even players are better than Arenas? which wings are better than Josh Howard? Which player is better than Blatche? Then you will realize how much of a one player team your team is. I'm sure even Lebron has gotten tired of it by now and wants to leave because I honestly don't see any moves the cleveland team can make to become any better.

There;s nothing cleveland is doing for Lebron and it's about time he leaves. We don't really need him here. I am happy with my team with or without him. I just want him to leave cleveland so I never have to talk to cleveland fans again other than to rub it in their faces. Cleveland is a team that was never thought about until Lebron arrived there. A team that after he leaves will never be thought of again. I am sure it's annoying to many people to have to think of a place as trivial as cleveland.

Will you still be a cleveland fan after he leaves? I probably don't have to call miss cleo for a free reading to figure that out.

Though I ain't militant about it and respect erybody's right to do whatever they fancy and all, I'm kinda with CDouglas on this one.

We're on page 76 of the Cav-Haters thread and now we're readying the red carpet as a fan base? I understand that Ted has got to get a collar on that cash cow if he can, but what happened to 'hata's gon' hate'?

I guess I'm just stubborn, but he would detract from my joy with the team a good bit. It would take a lengthy reprogramming session to get on board with that.

My love for the Bullets/ Wiz far outweighs my hate for LeGone and I think with the pieces in place he'd give us a pretty decent shot to win a few championships.

So, while it would be hard to root for the guy in a Wizards uniform, I'd do my best to support him. For starters, I'd start WALKING to the VC for each game and I'd also wear my Papa John's/ 23 CRYBABY shirt.

you guys are right I guess. now that you've WALKED me through this I guess i have to concede ( but I won't shake on it) you have won a victory much like the boston celtics did this playoffs against the cleveland cavaliers initially i was winning but in the end you closed out the argument with some well played points ( and about 13 assists and 18 rebounds)
We as washingtonians don't want to go to bed with the enemy ( but a few of our red headed colleagues have figured out viable substitutes) So i apologize and wish i could take it back. If your best players mom was the delete button, much like Delonte west I'd hit it

My view is that Ted's gotta make a pitch, so you bring Bron in one night, take him to a nice spot and discuss how the Wizards would work for him. Then, halfway through the meal 'amateur night' commences, Delonte takes the stage where he cuts into a torrent of Yo' Mamma jokes, Ted and Ernie leave real quick and Bron's left with the bill.

If he calls up the next day and says he's still interested in joining the Wizards, then fine, you leave him on hold for a while and go ahead with it at something like MLE money. If he doesn't, you just walk away and no hard feelings, right?

I think that's a reasonable strategy.

I don't think anyone is overly excited about bringing Lebron here. I mean we are not whoring ourselves like New Jersey, New York or Chicago. I'd compare it to an extremely religious, married republican banging his super hot Mexican, illegal immigrant baby sitter. Yeah, you just got the best poon tang EVER, but you are left with this growing disgust in the pit of your stomach that you've just betrayed everything you believe in.
