Jordan at the Coca-Cola 600

Post#1 » by Jaruff » Sun May 23, 2010 1:27 am

Just saw Michael Jordan wave the green flag at the Coca-Cola 600. It's good to see that he's getting involved with the local community, and if you want to make an impact in Charlotte, NASCAR helps. The team got a quick sound byte to millions of fans and all Jordan had to do was wave a flag. Good for him, that's a great way to continue to build support for the team.

Jaruff watches NASCAR. Going to be hard for me to shake a bunch of stereotypes whenever I read your posts now.

Okay, good. We're still cool, Jaruff.

But now Fats is in questionable standing.

It was the All-Star event, can't believe I overlooked that. I was grabbing some food as it started, heard someone say Michael Jordan, looked up, and he was waving the flag.

It's funny because I could never imagine Bob Johnson doing anything at a Nascar race.

Speaking of stereotypes, true story.

The day the NASCAR HOF opened, I'm driving home on 85 when I see a car like this right in front of me. As I get closer, what do I see?? NASCAR sponsors all over the car and a tag that reads GORDAN#1.

Far from my surprise, as I passed by, I got a look into the car...

That's right two ginormous fatties, eating McDonald's, crammed into the small front seat.

Thanks NASCAR HOF

ive been to one race. that was enough for me. the people watch was fantastic, but not worth the traffic, boredom and loudness.

I've often wondered why the HOF building wasn't made to look like a giant camper instead of the futuristic look it has now. It'd fit the image a lot better.

When I was younger, I had a friend who worked in the office at Domino's and she'd get some of my friends to help out at events. So a couple of times I got a job during the races driving the domino's pizza's from the truck they were made in, to the tents in the concourse by way of golf cart. It got pretty interesting with all the crowds and large people to maneuver around but it was always pretty fun to see how many people I could scare by speeding past them as close as possible.
