Is that bobcatsbaseline article correct? Didn't the salary cap actually increase for next season?

If they want to keep Felton and Tyrus, I wouldn't let paying the luxury tax for one season effect what they want long term. They'd be moving tons of cash off the books next season which would put them back below the cap.

Why hasn't anyone considered buying out Diop? Is that possible and wouldn't it be the cheapest long term option?

If I'm Diop, I'm not accepting a buyout unless it's the full amount. Henry Hill style, **** you, pay me.

^ This.

He's even more useless than Jerome James. Just like Jerome, he's more than happy to stay on the bench and "earn" his paycheck.

You know what makes me sad? I kind of wish that Mikhail Prokhorov was the owner of our team instead of MJ.

Mikhail is probably the most awesome man in the NBA.

It's fascinating to me to watch the media/fan reaction to Prokhorov....

If you follow English soccer you know about how poorly Manchester United fans have reacted to having foreign ownership, and how much stick Chelsea and Manchester City get for their free spending foreign owners. But it didn't happen here for some reason, Prokhorov is a rock star right now, everybody loves him...
