What is with this conception of Newark? I mean, I know its bad, but its not that bad. I'm there all the time. I'd rather be there than in Paterson. I don't get why everyone and their mother on ESPN is like, "Oh, Newark sucks, blah, blah, blah." They probably haven't even been there, let alone the Rock.

Funny video.

But Newark is nowhere near as bad as that. I've gone to about 15-20 Devils games at The Rock since it opened in 07' and it's actually a pretty nice area. Of course the arena is beautiful. I can't vouch for going too much farther beyond the Rock, but people make it out to be a lot worse than it actually is.

funny, even onstar is scared...20 years ago this was the ugly truth...if you live here, you know the video is a big stretch...except for the Jersey shore interlude...haha

I didn't think it was funny at all. It started off promising with how he couldn't find a place to fit his budget but turned ugly and wack. Even the Jersey shore stuff is full of ****, Newark probably has the smallest Guido scene out of any city in Jersey.

I haven't been to Sayreville in a while. The closest I get to it is the Parkway.

Finally got to this video. It's in good fun, but I'm willing to bet if you read a bunch of the comments from people not from NJ, they'll tell you Newark isn't as bad as that, at least not anymore. The people not from NJ though will believe the video.
