Noah on the possibility of playing with LeBron

Post#1 » by Rusty Walrus » Sun May 23, 2010 6:16 pm

“I’m excited to have a chance to play with the best player in the world,” Noah said, flashing his trademark smile. “That’s why you play the game, to play at the highest level with the best players in a great place like Chicago. It would be a great opportunity to one day win a championship.”

Well he was the only person I was worried about not welcoming Bron, but now that's done. Hope he personally calls him, and they discuss it.

No no no they hate each other.

That hug you saw after game 5 was actually a discreet knife fight.

I wasn't too worried, Noah is a lot more level headed then people give him credit for. He wouldn't let some petty quarrel get in the way of Lebron coming here.

I have noticed that. Personality wise he's a lunatic on the court, but he seems pretty level headed off the court. If Noah and Bron have talked about the possibility of this happening since the season ended then I don't know what else we can do to convince Bron to come here. It's pretty simple to me though. If he wants to win he comes here. We have the best team for him to join. If he wants to be a famous loser he can go to NY.

Doesn't apply to players.

He's just listing a country and an event. There is no implication of who will win said event. :)

Perhaps we will be allowed an OT world cup thread, it will be the off season, that would rock.

Obviously Noah earned a ton of respect by going at LeBron when he was prancing around like a fairy girl. Same thing with the Cleveland comments.

Great players respect those who fight and don't back down. Noah is the kind of guy LeBron would love to play alongside.

The idea that Joakim Noah and LeBron James wouldn't get along due to a small spat in the regular season, is borderline crazy. Players get upset at each other sometimes, and such is that. Should Tim Duncan then say no to adding Kevin Garnett onto his team since they were once ejected because they exchanged words?

It's ridiculous. LeBron James knows Joakim Noah is a valuable player to his team and vice versa. Game respect game.

Yep I agree with having an OT thread! And I would go really crazy if my orange guys would be world champs this year!

I'm assuming the World Cup is going to generate discussion. Especially when USA get abused in their first game.

It sounds to me he wasn't even implying that it would be great compared to that it will be great when he arrives. Anyone catch that hidden message? No? Well I tried.

Anyway nice words from Noah, but his goal should be to gain 10 to 15 lbs of raw muscle this summer so he can be a power force next to him.

He did it last summer and didn't lose any quickness. In fact he may have even gotten quicker. I think it's safe to say he can do it again if he puts his mind to it.

I'm glad Noah wants to win unlike some of the fans who don't want Lebron here!
