This is my first time opening this thread. I can't believe you had 2 songs from Bizarre in your OP. I don't care who's on the feature....don't do that again.

Been on a crazy Canibus kick lately. He's one of the best lyricists ever. Budden and Ortiz are 2 of the nicest out right now and in the last 5 years or so. Thank God for Slaughterhouse. You guys ever listen to Nickelus F? He used to make mad tracks with Drake before Drake sold out. Drake credits him for having a huge influence over his career. I actually did a track with him a while ago but the verse I laid down was assy compared to my newer stuff.

Speaking of which...I put this track out in the fall and posted it on here a couple of times but didn't get much of a response. For all you Jay Electronica heads- this was inspired by his "Eternal Sunshine" joint, and I personally think I ripped it better than he did....considering his version sounded like it was recorded on a Talkboy. Jay E is nice though. So is Eric Live 8-)

He has been mentioned before, but I find it ironic that you posted those two songs. If I had to put people on Finale id go with What you mean to me and Issues.

His generation is the reason why it's become so bad. He needs to tell his friends to look themselves in them mirror before they go make purchases or discussing who's hot and who's not. The fact he chose Mims track is a large indication his message failed from the jump.

Ive given him enough chances in the past, I really didn't care to listen to it. I know it got some high praise, but I've also heard people trash it.

XV is another guy who does nothing for me really, Ive listened to two mixtapes and really wasn't impressed much at all.

Idk bro Im not too much into the new kids either. (really just listen to Cudi, Skyzoo, cool kids, some b.o.b, wiz, and a little cole) but Kush and OJ is pretty tight. Real good and diverse beats with solid rhymes. Wiz isnt winning any lyrical awards anytime soon but he knows how to make a solid song, especially to spark an L to. Id suggest a quick listen because I think its his best work, but no big deal if you're not into him.

Either way hip hop is a fading genre to me. Ive said it before. Some people dont want to accept it and try and hype up these mediocre young guns or hold on to these washed up 40 year olds. It will never hit the level it was at in the 90s.
