Why did I think Santana was still not a part of their rotation?

Angels 2-1.

Morrow is going to pitch a good game.

2-1 Jays.

Saunders - 3-5/ 4.42 ERA/ 1.45 WHIP/ .271 BAA

Santana - 3-3/ 3.75 ERA/ 1.37 WHIP/ .270 BAA

Pineiro - 3-5/ 5.00 ERA/ 1.46 WHIP/ .297 BAA

With the way the Jays can hit the ball out I think they should be able to score in bunches against Saundes and Pineiro.

The only thing i'm worried about is if good Morrow and good Cecil will show up or not.

Don't know if that's going to happen because it seems as though Cito has some kind of pact with Overbay to play him through thick and thin.

Jays catching a couple breaks here

I was having the same thought tonight.. and the only way I can make it work is to either have Encarnacion or Bautista play first. Bautista is better defensively at either position, so the question becomes would it be possible to hide EE at 1B.

Short of that you've got to platoon Bautista and Lewis in the outfield and go 50/50 at third base with Bautista and EE when there's a right hander on the mound.

If that was 2009 Vernon, the ball would have bounced off the wall, then Vernon would have bounced off the wall.

His timing looks way off and he's undercutting a lot of drivable pitches.
