OMG I just figured it out. This game was doomed from the outset.

No Booty No Win

Damn, I shouldve seen it earlier. We have to get back to fun-da-mentals folks.

Game 4 GT should be filthy with hotties.

Lakers defense didn't show up, but even worthless teams can beat great teams from time to time

The way I see it is:

- The Suns were +22 free throw attempts*
- The Lakers had almost as many turnovers as assists
- Amar'e matched his career high in (playoff) scoring
- Robin Lopez had the game of his life

BUT... The Suns only won by 9...

*A lot of questionable calls went the Suns way but I'm not too bummed about it every good team gets some home cooking from time to time, against the Jazz we were the beneficiaries in a handful of games...

Guys just need to play with a little bit of passion and game 4 is another easy win. The Suns aren't that good...

kobeaki wrote:so looking at the box score from last night, we indeed shot 20 ft, to their 42....

now im not really a conspiracy theorist, things usually are what they are, whatever that means...

however, how does team(lakers) look so damned good in 2 games, and then only shoot 20 ft in the 3rd game?

im not sayin', but im just sayin'; could/would the nba intentionally prolong a series because all their others have been so short and disappointing?

i.e., tv ratings....now everyone knows the lakers are the ratings darlings(like the howard stern movie; "typical fans listen on average 1.5 hours a day, typical haters lisetn for 3")...

if the lakers sweep any series, forget about the suns for the purpose of argument...then they(networks and the nba) lose tons of ad revenue...

i mean 42 to 20?

if the lakers hot 42 to 20 at home, the haters and tin foil hat crew would be foaming at the mouth....

nut because its the inverse, the lakers werent "aggressive enough"...i dunno

disclaimer, for all the non laker fans who may read this, yeah, im a homer, a fan WHAT!!!! ISNT rooting for yr the point...?

Well yah the FT attempts by the Sun's IMO was a bit bs. Yes we all know that home teams get most of the calls, but I never seen lakers get that huge of a home cooking ever! Even during OKC series we still got less FT attempts then them on our own damn court. I'm not gonna go out and say "stern wants this" or whatever, but I do believe refs have a certain bias towards teams and players.
