Tallet will be back sooner rather than later.

Too bad the Jays lose out on Romero starting the opener with Tampa. Eveland's start is swallowed up by the off day with Marcum, Cecil and Romero going against Baltimore. It would be nice to win that opener versus Tampa

As for Zep and Litsch doing bad in the minors right now...I remember Romero having the same problems before they gave him a shot in the Majors.
I think there's a bit of a difference between putting up 6-7 ERA over a few starts, and 3.7whip /20 ERA over a couple starts.
They should be back soon. But doesn't seem like the right time coming off games like that after just getting back imo

Re: The Eveland Era Expires
Tallet got smoked in his most recent rehab start... 8 runs in 1 1/3 innings. Mills also got roughed up recently, which is too bad because he was having a great season and was starting to force the issue re: a callup.
The Jays seem content to let Morrow work it out a the major league level, so for the time being only one spot is up for grabs. My guess is they'll give it to Litsch first. If he or one of the other 4 falters hard, Czep will be next in the pecking order.
In September, I hope/expect Drabek will get the call.

Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
