Can this guy seriously just get cancer and die and go away?
How about replacing get with IS in the above sentence and have him just "go away".
So, what does Chicago think it is entitled to getting LeBron?

We have been getting pub the whole past two years. Eventually the rest of America got tired of us so they started switching things up. The Nets got some play a while ago...Miami a little bit although an unlikely destination for Lebron and now Chicago. The media is just doing their job..which is spin and speculate and get more people to read their trash.

Sam Smith and KC Johnson (Tribune) are the Bulls official mouthpieces. They've been writing about how they'd love to have Joe Johnson on the Bulls since the offseason began. It's pretty obvious they're trying to hype up JJ in case the Bulls completely strike out this offseason. I'm sure both will have columns denying this report in a matter of hours.

Wait, so Chicago is really expecting:
PG: Rose
SG: LeBron
SF: Deng
PF: Bosh
C: Noah
Coach: Phil Jackson

And holy $#!t, Broussard has the inside skinny on the dynasty in the making!!! He's single-handedly raised the expectations and the level of homerism in Chicago above that of what Knick fans have been labeled on RealGM. Congrats you f*cking deep-dish douchebag!

Re: The LeBron Thread
Deng wouldn't be in that lineup. It would be:
PG: Rose
SG: Anthony Morrow or a rookie?
SF: LeBron
PF: Bosh
C: Noah
Deng would either come off the bench or be traded.

Actually I think Broussards next story will be how the Bulls being the storied amazing franchise that everyone wants to go to (everyone wants to play in MJ's shadow) is actually gonna say that Deng is gonna be in a S&T that gets Dwyane Wade back in return.
in Broussard's fantasy world I think it goes like this
PG: Rose
SG: Wade
SF: Lebron
PF: Bosh
C: Noah
6th man: Joe Johnson
Coach: Phil Jackson
Assistant Coach: Coach K

I know we used to get pub back in the day....n your right ESPN has to fill about 36days till july with rumors and innuendo. either the Knicks are as secretive as the CIA.. Or we have nothing brewing.

Bulls downplay Phil Jackson report
By K.C. Johnson
A team source downplayed an ESPN.com report that the Bulls have reached out to Phil Jackson to gauge his interest in returning to coach.
Although "downplay" isn't the same thing as "deny". Sounds legit. Who knows if Jackson has interest though.

Was this Lebron house shopping on the north side thing legit or just another Broussard creation?

Broussard didn't create that one. It was some WGN Radio producer or something. It's amazing that so many people claimed to see LeBron houseshopping yet nobody was able to snap a simple camera phone picture of him. LeBron is probably vacationing in Cabo right now.

Re: The LeBron Thread
hey guys, im a nets fan, so i guess its a little weird for my first post to be in the knicks sub forum.
but like everyone else i have been fascinated by the lebron FA sweepstakes (or whatever you want to call it) for a long time (summer of 2008 when its was kinda mentioned for the first time). before i get into anything, i would just like to say that i never believed and still do not believe that lebron would ever play for the nets. (although when mentioned as a possible destination for lebron, i became giddy and what not)
i spent the last week or so gathering info from the web and also browsing real gm through the lebron threads on the cleveland (i feel really bad for them so i just wont say anything about them), the chicago (sometimes its kinda hard to be reasonable when a situation of this magnitude arises, especially when the media not only backs up but continues to create and spread rumors to fuel baseless speculation), and finally the new york (which to my complete surprise was not filled with douchebags lol)
there are many possible destinations for lebron, a lot of teams with good pieces to surround him whatever whatever whatever. however, its my belief that the only truly realistic destinations for lebron are cleveland and new york (advantage new york). igtm's post about deciphering the lebron post wasnt entirely correct imo, but i found it very insightful and it also made me more confident in my following beliefs:
1. lebron threw the celtics series (and thus creating the most perfectly understandable situation for him to skip town (and imo eliminates the possibilty of lebron signing with cleveland ))
2. lebron and co already made offseason plans (at the very least before the playoffs, but imo summer of 2009)
3. he is going to leave cleveland. and his destination will not be influenced by who has the pieces to make a run at the title
there are so many reasons i see him leaving cleveland from him throwing the games, to the delonte west rumor (which i find to be totally bogus; probably someone from his "entourage/team/advisors" starting tht up), to world wide wes (arguably the most important player in this thing). i think we can eliminate all those other places (mia, la, dal, nj).
The chicago thing annoys me because, yes in theory they could sign him and blah blah blah... but chicago over ny? forget about winning championships... honestly i think he has a better chance to do it in cleveland than in chi but how much sense does it make the lebron would play for the team that had michael jordan on it. is that logical? why try to live up to the standards/expectations of chi and jordan the legend when you could go to NYC with a clean slate and most importantly a **** KINGDOM. Yes a KINGDOM. this man puts on a show in the garden every year and absolutely soaks it all in... why chi over ny? ive heard people say it doesnt matter but to me that response just sounds ridiculous. (i can argue this chi thing a lot better but this post is getting really long)
anyway i think theres a very good chance, if not 100% chance, lbj comes to ny.

It's funny that the new trend is making up rumors about coaches going here and there. This obviously is only because the whole Calipari thing.
