Whiteside was gone long ago.

Whiteside is gone at #6. Davis is a PF and lord knows what the Raps board would do if we drafted ANOTHER PF! BPA was betwee Donatas Davis and Bledsoe. I think it was clear what to do in that situation. Bradley is a very undersized SG. While Orton was less than impressive with his combine measurements. Not to mention we have no idea if he can play since he was used very sparingly in College and that knee brace is one of the biggest i've seen since Jermaine O'Knee.

Hey guys I'm repping for the Bulls (#17) in this mock draft.

It's already up to the 16th pick isn't it?

Since I'm an Asian, I am afraid there would be some delays on my pick.

So I'd better put my choice here:

If James Anderson isn't picked at 16th, then he would be a Bull.

Thanks

Well my guy went at 14, thanks again JR! Tough decision with Patterson on the board still, but...

With the 16th pick, the Philadelphia 76ers select Daniel Orton, Center that never played from Kentucky

I believe Davis is the BPA. Besides, Bledsoe is 6-1, and not a true point gaurd. You can argue that for Bradley too, but he is much taller 6-3 I think. He is also a extremely good defender. (God knows we need a defensive pg) Combine measurements mean very little, considering they don't show how you perform during games. But I agree, Orton is abit of a gamble, but seeing how the raps also need a big man, you need to take a gamble.

I like Bledsoe but that's way too early. I would've taken Orton at 13.

Nice pick for the Heat but can he play SF alongside of Beasley? If not I'll offer Portland's
pick at 22 and second round pick at 44 for him.

Well, I even came to the Toronto Board trying to recruit you for this.

Don't worry, Orton is going to blow big time anyway and Bledsoe is likely to go higher then he should in a draft so devoid of point guards.

Hope so! That's why I picked him. I don't think the Bledsoe value was bad at 13, but I question him getting minutes over Jack or Calderon. Seems to me like PG is the only position they are set at.

You do realize I meant that I thought Orton is going to suck, right?

Yes, Willing to take the risk at 16 though. I have too many PFs as-is, and really need center help. I think Orton can develop into a starter if he gets a good mentor. I really think he has a lot more to offer than he showed in college as well. Plus he's a good kid, somebody's gotta pay him.

Orton is not worth the risk imo. The knee brace, lack of any real PT at Kentucky combined with a rather unimpressive combine measurement is enough for me to say no thanks to Orton. Did I mention his foot work in the post is horrible also?

Bledsoe will be climbing up the draft rankings once all the combine results and workouts have completed. He has a very impressive skill set and will be a starter in the league for alot of years. He was the right pick. Go to youtube and check out his clips from high school where he played the PG. Exactly the kind of PG that wins you games and he has major heart and leadership abilities. 2 things we have ZERO of.
