^^^ Agreed, any f/a signing has to be the bare minimum. Otherwise I do like Childress as a prospect for our 2-spot. Even if ATL holds his rights, their last offer wasn't overwhelming so they'd probably move him in a S&T. They might do it for D.Jones.

Actually I would have no problem at all doing a S&T with them for Dahntay. I like Dahntay and all but I think Childress has a more complete game. He has great size for a SG which makes him a difficult cover for other team. He doesn't NEED the ball to score, has a career FG% over 50%, is a decent rebounder, has better range on his jumper than Dahntay, plays decent on the defensive end, and has a pretty freakin sweet Darnell Hillman-esque afro.

Sign me up for that deal ASAP!

Shaun Livingston and AJ Price - maybe we can get a good set of knees out of the two of them!

LOL

I wouldn't mind Livingston if it were for a backup role. With only Watson and Ford on the roster, that just seems very shaky. If we had someone more reliable, i'd be ok with it.

Watson's likely a goner, so he shouldn't figure to be in the mix anymore.

Hey, what do you guys think about Kyle Lowry? He's a RFA who is seeking starting spot but cannot in Houston beacuse they have Brooks. He play defense well but bad beyond the arc.

He would bring toughness. I like that kid, but I'm not sure if he's starting material.

^ I think Obie would prefer PG's who can shoot from the perimeter. Lowry would be a good backup, but the starter the Pacers need should definitely be better than Lowry.

The fact that he is a RFA makes me think the Pacers wouldn't even touch him. He only shot 39.7% from the field and 27% from 3. I've liked him since Villanova, but I don't think he would be the answer as a starter for us.

Lowry can play some defense. I'd take him as a b/u.

I'd like him, but he's not a fit for O'Brien's system at all.
