Luke Babbit

I want Henry or George at 16,
but it looks like both might be gone before then.
This lefty is my pick if they're gone.

50-41-91 Fg-3pt-ft%
21.9 pts/game on 14.8 FGA
8.9 rebs/game.
6'7.5 w/out shoes
6'11.25 wingspan, 8'8.5 reach.

He seems to have a really good handle for a guy his size.
He'd be the prototypical sniping SF.
I think his upside is a taller Ginobli.
Only question is his defense, but I think he has the wingspan to be effective guarding sf's, and his rebounding numbers are great.
Babbitt is shooting up draft boards, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to memphis at 12.

Let it be known that I started the Babbit bandwagon yesterday. There's plenty of room.

He's athletic, but he's no where near the athlete Ginobili is. Reminds me of Gugliotta with a sweeter J. So maybe Googs with some Szcerbiak mixed in.

Maybe it was the system or the role he was asked to play at Kansas, but Henry looked like a run of the mill rotation player (in the NBA) to me this year.

To be fair, he was better than Henry last year. Henry was the third option on his team and a freshman. Most would agree that Henry has more upside though.

Yeah, Henry wasn't overly impressive at KU. He shot the lights out for the first 2 months or so but then cooled off. But he is an excellent defender, and he is a pretty good athlete. He seems like a 3, unless he can improve his handle. Henry is built like a truck at only 19 and it may show to his work ethic.
