Yeah, I saw this discussed a while back on the Indy boards. I'm all for it, unless a better deal is in the works that uses those picks.

Meh. So many bigs in the draft are just going to push a player we like to 16 anyway.

If we think that George is going to be gone by 16 we should do it. Cousins and George would be awesome, or if we like Wes Johnson more take him (hopefully we move back a couple spots), and then at 10 maybe take Cole Aldrich?

Cole Aldrich is my least favorite lottery-projected prospect. Slow, plays below the rim...Hollinger's Draft Rater has him as an early-second-round talent, and the Draft Rater's accuracy goes up exponentially the longer a prospect is in college.

Eh..He's not that unathletic, average I'd say. He's a good passer, and great outlet passer. His numbers dipped this season but he took a backseat to Collins and Henry, while dealing with family problems. He's a great rebounder, and an awesome shotblocking. He's also a good man defender. He gets to the line at a good rate, and makes a good %. He has an awkward, but effective jumper out to 15 feet.

His defensive ability is something that this team really needs, and he could be one of the best shotblockers in the league.

I tend to agree. I do think I'd prefer a Flynn + 23 for 10 so we keep the 16, and then we could pull off a Cousins/George/Henry or Anderson draft, and Sessions can hold down the fort until Rubio comes, but I don't know if that all works out.

I'll see Indy's 10 and raise it to #9.

Yes, I'd give you guys the Jazz' #9 for 16 and 23.

:-? I hate how everyone is so willing to throw Flynn away. I hope he proves all the naysayers wrong next season.

It's less that I hate Flynn and more that I really like George at wing, and have confidence in Rubio taking over next year.

This draft has so many players I like that I'm inclined not to do this deal.

I'd say do it.

Then move Jefferson, #10 to Philly for Brand, #2

I think we gotta give up on the idea of grabbing the #2.

How about this wacky idea?

#16 + #23 for #10
Same ol Al for Prince + #7
Then Prince + #10 for Iggy.

Is that doable?

This is the kind of deal that many PHI fans would do. Some say that Turner and Iggy can't exist, and keeping turner (and therefore Brand), means that they won't be winning and need to go in a rebuild mode. Personally, I think Iduodala is adequately paid for his production and his flaws, but since he is PHI's best player, they can't accept a deal where they can't show the fans some profit.

If only we still had that high 2nd rounder. I think we could've sold someone on 23+32 in a move up, or even 16+32 to move up a few spots and take George. I think there is more than enough talent until 23 that we'd be pretty silly not to roll the dice on 3 guys that fall, opposed to putting all eggs in one basket. None of us can say that George is a sure thing, so why not settle for Henry + another solid option?
