Now you realize why Portland dumped him in the first place. :D

Tough break for you guys but you acted like you got the biggest steal in the NBA for a while there.

C'mon man. There is no evidence that Randolph is even involved. He is known as a guy who buys stuff for his friends as a gesture because he likes people. He just has a lot of wrong friends. There was a big cold front in Memphis this past winter and Zach paid for 15 utility bills to help out the city. So he has a track record of being generous.

Btw, he led a 20 win team to a 40 win team. The Grizzlies basically traded Darko for Zach. Would you have done the same thing in that position?

At least it isn't Gilbert's contract the Grizz are saddled with...

I don´t understand. If this incident was in California or other state where ganja is legal there would be nothing to be said.

I´ll stand in Z-Bo´s side. As long as he don´t bring his off court issues to the team I´m ok with that.

Marijuana is not legal in Cali unless you mean medical marijuana. Sure if you have a license from the state to grow marijuana for medical purposes only then is it legal to have large amounts of it. Either that or you have a doctors order to use it then its legal to have a bit on you but definitely not anything past like 2-4 ounces. These licenses and doctors orders are very difficult to get and I sincerely doubt any of his friends or himself have one.

No US state has legalized marijuana for casual consumption and production. Thus why you don't see cigarette companies jumping up and down trying to capitalize on the market yet. California and Oregon both have groups of individuals that are working hard trying to legalize it completely though.

I bet 2 months after any state fully legalizes marijuana they will have commercialized production of it for sale in that state.

Better draft a power forward. If Heisley sees a way of voiding $17mil he might do it.

Of course I'm being sarcastic.

Just when I thought he had turned things around for the better.

And I'm not sure his friends are going to take the heat for him. I read he put his name on boxes and lockers for goodness' sake. What a dummy.

It's really too early to make a judgement based upon the report alone. The only thing that is for certain is he can now officially stop talking about an extension. Even if he is innocent of everything alleged the market for him is basically Memphis. Every other team will be too cautious in even offering anything long term.

I was thinking the same thing. Even if Zach comes out of this free and clear, it's one more piece of baggage for him. I really hope this is a case of poor judgment in who he's letting hang around him as opposed to him actually being aware/involved with what was going on.

Zach's been nothing but class on the floor and off since arriving in Memphis.

AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG! Say it ain't so Zach... :(

It's been a bad morning for NBA star Zach Randolph -- TMZ has learned the 6'9" All-Star has been named in a police report detailing an alleged brawl in an L.A. area strip club yesterday.

According to the Gardena Police Department, officers responded to Starz strip club around 2 AM Wednesday morning -- after someone called 911 claiming a man named Gary Ferguson had been badly beaten by someone in Zach Randolph's crew.
