Here is the bright side
Even if Suns won game 5 game 6 is still a must win.
Also it woulda been hard to beat the lakers 4 straight games. That's like sweeping them. Now we just gotta win 2 in a row and we already did that and 1 is at home. So I know game 5 was a tough loss but losing the first 2 games in LA in blowouts didn't cause us to lose game 3 or 4
we will win game 6 and steve Nash never loses game 7 against anyone. So all we need to do is get it to game 7 and Nash will get us to the promiseland.

I been soooo positive during this whole season, including the playoffs, BUT I just don't see Kobe losing a game 7 to us. I really hope Suns can prove me wrong. I know we're going to take game 6, but game 7 is the one on my mind.

If we go to game 7 it will be the furthest we've gone since the mid 90's. Win or lose this season was a success. I just don't wanna lose this series in our house ya dig.

I dont know what astounds me more, the fact that the Lakers get every buzzer beater they need, or the fact that they need so many buzzer beaters to begin with.
All freakin season! Unbelievable!

+10000000000000000000
We played poor defense for most of the game.
Our bench was rather absent for most of the game.
Our 3 point shooting was pretty bad for the first 3 quarters.
Yet we still were tied with 3.5 seconds left. Suns know that we could have/should have had this game tonight. They know that we can do something else in LA besides getting blownout and completely demoralized like in game 1 & 2. Nash showed a hell of a lot of heart tonight, and he knows how hard it is to get this far, so i see him fighting tooth & nail to get us to the next round!
By the way, anybody know what Hotel the Lakers will be staying at? I've been meaning to show Phil Jackson my new recipe for those fish tacos that he loves so much!

He usually eats at this fancy restaurant in the Biltmore plaza. It's not Cheesecake Factory or True Kitchen. It's further east. The LA Sparks stayed at the Ritz hotel across the street from Cheesecake too.
Hope that helps.

I've seen a lot of teams sleep in the last seconds of the game, and let this happen. But never did I expect it to happen with so much riding on the line, and after that much effort. Not boxing out is unacceptable. A tip is the only possible last resort a team has with a missed shot with that much time left. Don't know how the players didn't see it coming, especially after that Gasol game winner not too long ago.

Yup. Thats where they go. I used to work at Best Buy right there too, which is probably why you see a ton of basketball players go in there because their hotel is right next door, lol.
But yeah I'm sure if you staked out at Ritz, you'll see them there. I also remember seeing Sun Yue at Macy's when I worked there last year too. It was like three hours before the game, I guess he figured he wouldn't play anyway, lol. But he was wearing his warm-up clothes, as if he wanted to be recognized as a Lakers player.

A lot of those guys ate breakfast at the restuarant and it's amazing how distant they were with eachother. It makes what kind of chemistry we hear about with the Suns pretty amazing. When Shaq came thru with Miami him and Gary Payton would ask every white woman if they've ever slept with a black guy before, so wrong.

Re: Here is the bright side
I think the bright side can be found just by looking at the stats:
-Lakers had 9 more rebounds (7 of them offensive)
-Lakers had 9 more assists
-Suns had 5 more turnovers
-Lakers had something like 16 second chance points to the Suns 3 or 4
-Amare played like crap
-Lopez non-existant stat line
Despite all this the Lakers still needed a buzzer beater to win.

Re: Here is the bright side
One more thing:
after blowing out the Suns in game 1 (and most of game 2) the Lakers looked like the far superior team and I think a lot of people were getting the brooms out.
Since then the Suns have blown out the Lakers twice and were one offensive rebound away from forcing OT and potentially stealing the biggest game of the series so far. All this after many predicted the Suns might not even make the playoffs at the start of the season.
Lots of things to be happy about. Yes this loss hurts - for me personally it might be up there with Paxson hitting the game winner in the '93 finals - but the series isn't over and the Suns still have a chance to win it.

Not to mention our bench wasn't playing well at all. But honestly man I don't know how positive all of those things are. I mean the Suns knew they needed 48 minutes of solid play to win and they only had about 15 minutes of it.
They're going to need two great games to take this series, which I have no doubt in my mind they have the resolve, desire and mental toughness to do.

I know. Since I typed that I have different feelings. This was an amazing chance to steal the biggest game of the season and at the end of the day no amount of positives can reverse the result.
I am also confident that the Suns can win this series though. They just have to keep their heads up and not be demoralised by this loss.
Still....what a chance it was to go home leading 3-2 and put all the pressure on the Lakers...

Suns have been great in this series and it has been fun to watch. I say this will go to a epic game 7.
You can always pick out thinks to look at the bright side and the dark side.
Lakers shoot just 41% and still got the W
Lakers did not get anything from Bynum and Artest(okey one great basket) and still won.
Lakers D was just bad in the 2 half and they still won.
Suns - Nash had his best game in this series and they still lost
Suns - Fry did make some 3pt shoots in LA and they still lost
Suns - Had 29 FT in LA and still lost
Suns- Had 6 players scoring 10pts or more and they still lost
You can do this to every game.
I hated that the Lakers were up big in the 2Q and the 3Q and then just stop playing.
I hated that pick and role D with Gasol taken on the best O PG in the game(yes i think he is stronger then Paul and Williams).
I hated that stupid shoot from Artest with 56 sec left
I hated when Fry was guarding Gasol and we did not go inside.
But i love this game and i would like to see Nash and the Suns win it all if we dont go to the final.
Lakers 72,80,82,85,87,88,00,01,02,09 and 10 champions

Kobe already lost a game 7 to us. A better Lakers team now than it was then but it's also a better Suns team this year. I'm not getting my hopes up through.

Suns fan during the KJ era (Coliseum), through the Barkley era (Am West Arena), and now the Nash era (US Airways Arena)!

How does Sarver get more money for playing game 7? Its not in PHX. He's already getting that money from just having game 6.
