One Lucky Shot Deserves Another

Post#1 » by Venti Quattro » Fri May 28, 2010 3:15 pm

I heard it last night and it's continued this morning. Ron Artest was just at the right place at the right time, he threw up a prayer, and luckily it went in. So, I ask Suns fans this question...wasn't Jason Richardson's long banked in three to tie the game just as lucky?

His shot was lucky, but the lakers not boxing out wasn't lucky. Suns had two shots almost go in and then the ugly shot finally goes.

First of all one of Kobe legs was outside when he took his fade away and J Rich was fouled by Artest but as always the Suns are not gonna get those calls because they are in L.A and noway J Rich shot was luck he's been doing that since GSW days.

Yup... and the fact that Artest launched that ill advised three to put Phnx in the position to tie was another factor of fate. Goat to hero... Artest bailed himself out as he would have been roasted if the Suns won.

Balls bounce funny sometimes.

phnx was set up to take that game as the fLakes looked a bit tired. It was a stinger especially with all the missed free throws.....

I'm not here to troll, I'm here to talk basketball and get the feelings of Suns fans. If you look at my post history, you'll see that I've never posted looking for confrontations.

In my opinion, if you're looking for a foul, it's not going to happen in last second frantic situations. If you look at the Richardson three, Nash is running towards him with his arms out like he's doing an airplane to make sure Odom doesn't close. It's just not going to be called.

JRich hit a tough shot then he missed his assignment and let Artest come through for the put back. Who cares who's lucky and who's not?

What is the point of this thread?

I thought this thread was going to be about Shaq's greatest quotes or something. I don't think you're trolling, OP, but we're discussing this pretty thoroughly in the game 5 thread, so I'd advise you to post your thoughts there as a separate thread isn't needed.
