How to get more traffic to smaller boards?
The vast majority of traffic is concentrated to a small group of boards (cough Raptors board cough) (I guess I'm a self-loathing Raptors fan?). Is anything being done to bring in more traffic from outside and/or introduce existing members to other boards on the site? The links to other team boards in your city was a good start. What has been the overall traffic trend over the last few years? I'd guess it's been pretty static. I'd like to see more people on the ML board especially.

Realgm started out as a basketball site so its hard for people to just migrate over. It was also a really tedious process to get an account. Its still not established on the MLB side like it is on the basketball side. This applies to hockey and football too.
I guess if you had good writers and wrote good content, people would read the stuff. You also need a certain amount of fans. Ive been on the Spurs board a few times and there arent too many users. They probably have another board (spurstalk.com)
This is more general, but Christopher Reina does a really good job on the baseball stuff and if you had people like that for the other sections, youre set.
Not sure if you guys have twitter as well, but if you promoted that it would be great. Realgm radio seems like an untapped well to me. You guys have good contacts and you could do really good podcasts.

Have more people subscribe to the Mitchell Clemons show. RealGM will skyrocket in popularity.

I got here by googling NBA rumors I believe. If we can work on getting higher search for Team X Rumors we could pull some more traffic.
