Kevin Love or Demarcus Cousins.

I changed my mind about Cousins and I think that Cousins, Al and Darko would make a great rotation.

Add some athletic wings to Flynn/Rubio, now your talking.

This should be Cousins or Al. Cousins and Love are a good fit.

I'd rather trade Al and Love to get back a good wing and an athletic big to complete the rotation. Out of the choices, I'd probably take Cousins, because a legit Center is more important than a (very) good role playing Power Forward. I agree with IAmTheTruth, though, Cousins, Love, and Darko is a much better rotation than Cousins, Al, Darko because Al and Cousins wouldn't fit well together at all.

I won't be pissed if the Wolves break camp with Cuz, Al, and Love on the roster. We don't need to trade Al Jeff until his value goes up, if at all. Maybe make sure Cousins shows something first.

I would go with Cousins high upside rather than K Love's safe limited upside. After Cousins plays in the NBA, I don't think the comparison will be close.

Comparison
Defense: edge to Cousins
Passing: edge to Love
Inside Scoring: Significant edge to Cousins
Mid Range Game: Edge to Cousins
3 point Range: Edge to Love
Rebounding: Even

One on One matchup. Edge to Cousins

Not really, we may not have the opportunity to watch Cousins play before making a decision.

Good point. If we decide to draft Cousins, we will almost be forced to decide between Jefferson and Love(and perhaps Cousins and Darko) quickly, maybe even by draft night.

If the players force a move that's one thing but if I had my choice I'd like to see them all play together in various mash ups and then make my determination afterward. At the very least I'd like to put cousins through his paces with some practices and drills and see what he can do. Training camp should be an okay determination.

I'm sort of sick of the wait and see method with our players. It always seems like we're waiting on something. I think there's enough tape on Cousins to make a decision at draft time.

I agree with "I am the Truth's" posts.

Jefferson's value is almost certainly going to go up by the time we reach the trade deadline - over two years from his injury. Every game Jefferson puts up his traditional 20-11, GM's will drool. I also agree with his combo point.

In Love's defense, I'd point out his rebounding > Cousins. Love led the entire NBA in RB/MIN in both of his years in the league.

Ack. These decisions are impossible. Hopefully the front office knows what they want to do.

I'm starting to come to terms with waiting until the trade deadline to deal one of our bigs. It's going to suck watching the team lose every game again, but it's not like MN will be a significant team until Rubio comes over anyway.

But if you're potentially playing him with Cousins, what are the odds he reaches those numbers? Personally I think he's more valued around the league then he is here at realgm and he's gone this summer either to a team who wants him badly or someone that just missed out on all the awesome FAs and is looking to salvage their offseason.

Well we could wait until after the draft at least. Cousins to Minnesota is no sure thing, especially with Dave "The Trade Machine" Kahn at the helm.
