It's pretty sad that an entire city - even state, bases their economic success on a basketball player. If I were LeBron I would find it pretty pathetic... it's like the city of Cleveland is trying to retain him by making him feel bad for them. What's even worse is that they made it out to be like a video that would normally be made for kids dying of hunger in a third world country. Pretty disappointing.

NY (the city, not the team) has been trying to impress LeBron, but it's not quite groveling.

A comparison would be a few guys trying to get a hot chick. NY would be the guy who shows up in his flashy sports car and asks her to go to the Maldives with him. Cleveland would be the desperate guy who writes her a long and kind of creepy poems and texts her every two hours.

I love that analogy.. Props for that. But now it kind of depends on what type of chick she is.. Would that chick choose the guy with the looks and appearance with an attention whore type of personality, or would she choose the guy whom she has been with for 7 years and one who has done nothing but treat her with respect?

All he wants to do is win a ring, if he gets that at NY or Chicago then he will go there. If we really was an attention whore he would have left a long time ago.
