Great season we had. I dont know whats going to happen but i am ALL for getting Nash and Hill to contenders... I think the F.O wants amare to leave so i think hes a goner. i see a couple grim seasons in the suns future.

get amare out, its obvious he will never be the major part to get us to being a championship team. Can't rebound, low IQ...funny how when he talks about himself, he always talks about his increased IQ and defense.

LB get out too, you just stall the offense and brick shots all day

resign lou and frye if he's cheap...

shooters will always be there, and thats all frye does...

#1 - S&T Amare to NJ for #3(Favors), Yi + TPE. I think asking for T-Will is too much.

or

#2 - S&T Amare to Miami for TPE, 2010 1st + 2012 1st. Sign David Lee for 5 years/65 mil.

#3 - Trade Barbosa to ATL for Mo Evans plus 2010 1st (which they're trying to get rid of)

We need defense/rebounding. Avoid killing our payroll by giving Amare 100 mil. If Frye/Hill opt out that's another 5 mil.

Ideal lineups:

Nash/Dragic
J-Rich, Evans
Hill, Dudley
Lee, Clark, Lou
Lopez, Frye

Cavs fans on the trade boards are suggesting Jamison + Hickson for Amare but i doubt Amare goes there without knowing LBJ is committed.

I know how upset everyone is on Amare....biggest game of the season and he played like a dog. But seriously, who's going to replace him? Nash is a keeper, but we can't do it all by himself. Amare is still his best partner. I think the Suns would look into all the options out there for Amare but unless it can improve our team going forward, we simply need to keep him. He's going to get max no matter what....

Amare needs to go but so does Barbosa

Post#14 » by SunsWinSunsWin » Sun May 30, 2010 3:43 am

I've always despised Barbosa. He has the lowest BB IQ on the team, by far, and on top of that he's a huge defensive liability. He dribbles out the clock every time he touches the ball and misses 5 layups a game. Get him out of here now! I'm very upset that Gentry left him in for the majority of the 4th quarter when J-Rich is available...I like Gentry but this was a boneheaded decision.

Amare is not a max player, it is that simple. If another team wants to throw max money on him then let em. His rebounding is atrocious and his sportsmanship and BB IQ has a lot to be desired. Notice how he couldn't even stay on the court to congratulate any of the Lakers and barely acknowledged his own teammates. We will miss his high flying plays from time to time but overall it would be good for the future of this team to think of bringing someone else in. Sarver needs to bite the bullet and try to lure a Dirk or Bosh during the off season.

Suns played a hell of a season and should be proud. Dragic is going to be something special and I really like our coach (except tonight during the 4th). It'll be interesting to see if Clark develops in the offseason.

I think this season was as much a surprise the most people as it was for me. I'd never imagine we'd get past 2nd round, let alone stay competitive in the WCF.

That being said, I think I'm going to stick with what Sir Charles said about Amare around the trade deadline. You can't pay a guy $100m if you are not a serious contender. Quite frankly, is just not worth it if we're not a contender and we could find similar production for cheaper.

Barbosa should have been traded when Duhtoni left

We made it to the WCF only to lose to Kobe and you want us to rebuild? We could very well improve next year if we get a suitable replacements for Amare and LB.
