Post#1 » by Mamba Venom » Sat May 29, 2010 1:42 pm

Mitch’s Moves

The Shaq Trade Ultimate Break Down:

Shaq
Kwame Butlerkins
Donte Green
M Gasol
Critt
Low 1st round pick 2010

For

Lamar Odom
Pau Gasol
Jordan Farmar
L Profit
1 year of losing, 2 years of character building

---

2005 losing season -> Bynum (It was painful but exciting to watch us rebuild)

Radmonivic -> Ammo & Brown

Brian Moriza -> Artest

2010 Off-Season???
---
Mitch’s BEST Contracts:
Artest 5.4 mil
Odom 7.5 mil

Mitch’s WORST Contracts:
Sasha 5 mil
Luke 5.5 mil, long term
There better not be anymore

*Ariza was not traded for Artest, but we signed Artest because of Ariza's departure. It was Mitch's decision which player would be our SF this season

Props to our GM for getting us a great team to compete for a championship

You forgot Rondo.

He ultimately was picked with the LA 1st that went out in the Mihm/Payton deal. Hurts a smidge.

LA could've taken Rondo at 21 and Milsap at 26 (instead of Farmar, with the Miami pick). Dayum.

edit- of course I'm still pissed about LA passing on Larry Bird for Jamaal Wilkes indirectly so?

The Lakers need to trade for a young and upcoming point guard.

There really are no upcoming PG's for the Lakers to trade for the only one I can think of is Sessions. They can sign a couple Livingston and Felton but the PG trade market is pretty bare.
