If Morrow keeps pitching like that, the optimism wont be blind for long.

imagining the Jays beating the Phillies in the WS is a really good dream.

I must remain cautiously optimistic! But it's getting tough to maintain. I'm in the process of being blinded by optimism!

The proximity of this thread to the Tallet to start Tuesday thread truly highlights one portion of the threads title.

And that snuggy animated gif just gave me cancer.

As someone who was blindly pessimistic before the season started, I'm slowly coming around, but I haven't even crossed the p/o event horizon yet, so I've got a ways to go, but I swear I'm trying. :D

Every season at least one team plays waaaaay above their preseason expectations. Why not the Jays this year?

That's as optimistic as I get!

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

Although it's a nice start, how many times have we seen this before?...Just to watch them collapse (01', 06', 08', 09')...probably some other years I'm forgetting.

There is no way this team is making the playoffs this year.

A .500 season would be a tremendous achievement....let's not get ahead of ourselves.
