Is it Interesting that at first when asked about an edge he just say's absolutely and then King brings up the home team.

Suppose he said does any city have an edge for instance NY.. Don't you think James would go on to say nice things about New York.

Point is he isn't going to say anything bad. He's not that guy and right now that wouldn't be good for business either way. He will say nothing negative towards any city, town or team at least until he signs a new contract. Even then he probably won't with hopes to do it all again in three years.

That thing is rigged for NY not to be an outcome for Lebron. i must have clicked it like 20 times and it either gave me Miami, Cleveland OR Chicago. I

It's not, and I'm as apprehensive as they come. That's the ONLY answer he can give.

Yep pretty much on both the 1st and 2nd sentences. :D

Good point. Even if Lebron has already made up his mind he is not going to say anything negative about any team interested in him. He wants to be recruited/wined and dined. He is going to let all of the suitors come and try to sell him their pitch. He may already know where he is going to sign but he isn't going to let it on to anyone.

So why is it news if he says they have an edge? Of course they do and should!

The real news would be IF he said, "This was a great 7 years here, but I am leaning towards leaving" Now that would be worthy of a "Breaking News" crawl on ESBN! :D

Kings first question clearly infers asking about the team and place he knows best, NE Ohio. To which LeBron replies. "Absoutely..it has the edge"

Anyways, keep clinging on to the dream. Its about all you have left. There are 2 players in this FA period who are worth the MAX slot by themselves. LeBron and Wade. Good chances are, they will both remain in their current situation.

Bosh, Amare, and Johnson are only truly worth the max if they are paired with LeBron or Wade.

Pairing Bosh/Amare/Boozer with Joe Johnson is not good enough for what you guys have put yourselves through the past 3-4 years.

If by some miracle, you get LeBron, congrats. I'm from Akron and will continue to support LeBron whatever he chooses. I'm a Cleveland fan, and will support the Cavs with or without LeBron.

You guys are in a tricky situation. If you can't get LeBron or Wade, do you blow all the cap space on the other guys, knowing you will have no shot at a lottery pick the next two years, or do you hold out hope for 'Melo in 2011?

Thats funny - because everytime I do it I get at least two damned players going to the Knicks.

Hell - one of our posters posted a screenshot where every single FA was going to the Knicks.

I think Cleveland will do everything in its power to keep him - which is why the Delonte West story surfaced over the weekend.

Don't give up so easily. Why wouldn't his current team have the edge at this point, free agency doesn't begin for another month.

NY is in the best financial position to make moves that help the team get better than they have been in ages. All of this talk about NY not getting Lebron is funny to me. It was a damned if ya do, damned if ya dont kind of deal...If NY was not in play the critics would say, "Lebron would strongly have considered NY but they didnt have the cap space or he didnt want to come to NY alone, so it's a moot point etc etc" Now we have room for 2 MAX CATS and all you hear is NY does not have the supporting cast or Lebron is going to Chicago LOL

July 1st is coming, I know this much, we are in a better position now than we have been in quite some time...Lebron or not!

This is the best news I've heard in some time. Sorta since KG told him he couldn't get his youth back.

Sayign that clev has an edge, after being propted to basically, is about as soft an endorsement as you can ask for.

Remember up until the caves were eliminated it was basically a lock that he'd stay and the Knicks ere seen as an outside chance but a chance none the less.

Now it's down to an edge. And because he knows the city and the fans have been good to him?

Uh, he knows this city a little as well and I feel reasonably sure that fans here might be welcoming to him too
