I didn't even know there was a game today. I thought game 1 was going to be on Tuesday for some reason. I ended up catching most of the 2nd half, but it was interfering with my nap time. Both teams kind of surprised me, but anything is possible at this point in the playoffs. I don't think it is panic time for the Magic, but game 2 becomes a must win.

I see the Lakers are up 7 at the half tonight. I'm taping the game instead of watching it. If the Suns win, I'll watch it in the morning.
If the finals are a Lakers/Celtics thing, I don't plan to waste any time watching that. Neither of those teams needs another set of rings IMO.

I do think it's refreshing to see new champions, but I think the Celtics and Lakers are the best two teams left. We will see how it all turns out though

It looks like it's shaping up to be that way. Boston up 2-0 over Orlando with the next 2 at home. Orlando may steal 1 of the next 2 on the road, but that is probably about it. They'll be in a do or die situation at home in game 5.

Looks like prediction was correct. I'm not sure who will win between the two teams. I don't really have a preference for either team to win.

I don't really care for either. Although I guess I'm suppose to root for Boston since it's the Lakers. KG is a total bitch now though. Guess it's not a big deal since I've yet to watch a single playoff game.

Are you still without cable? This year's playoffs haven't been that much fun to watch anyway, so you're not missing much.

Well I got cable internet again, but I sold off my TV months ago. We still have one in the living room and what not, but I hardly watch the stuff to begin with. So yeah. :3 I doubt I'll get cable TV again. I'd rather keep the extra $30 a month for other things. Too much crap nowadays too. It's just not worth it.

I think these finals will be very close so I think either team can win it in 6 or 7 games. I just picked the Lakers in 7 because I don't really like the city of Boston that much. But I could have easily picked the other 3 options that fall into how I think the finals will turn out.

The 2-3-2 format makes controlling your home floor all the more important. If the home team loses one of the 1st 2 games, they have the next 3 on the road. If the road team drops the first 2 and goes 2 of 3 at home, they have to win out on the road. I'm hoping for a good series. I wanted Phoenix/Orlando, but yeah. Celtics and the Lakers for the umpteenth time. I'm going with Boston in 7.

So if the Lakers win it all, who wants to meet up and burn those stupid Laker flags on the car windows? :D

Now Panda we don't need to do that. If any Laker fan catches you it might be all over. lol

About the game last night I was surprised that the Lakers built up such a lead, I thought Boston would put up more of a fight. Since I'm not that big of a fan of either team I'd like to see close games. Sucks that the next game isn't until Sunday.

Honestly those things just really annoy me. Not just Laker flags but any car flag in general. :P

Couldn't stand all the foul calls tonight. Refs missed calls on both sides, but it still ended up being a good game due to the player's efforts. Ray Ray was absolutely unconscious in the first half. It was surprising whenever he missed. I really enjoyed watching him tonight. Rondo is that dude. If only he could learn how to become a shooter in this league. A Triple Double and a game saving performance in the 4th quarter. I was surprised to see that Allen ended up playing more minutes that Rondo. Gasol and Rondo both logged heavy minutes early in the game. Something like 19 or so before either saw a break. Gasol's extended playing time was due to foul trouble Odom & Kobe. Rondo due to their back up situation, but KryptoNate did play very well when he did get into the game during the 4th quarter. Risky move, but it paid off for Doc and the Celtics.

I missed last night's game and I hope that this series goes at least 6. It kinda sucks when there isn't any basketball.

Looks like my prediction was right. I thought it was an entertaining game. I wasn't really rooting for either team, they have both won too many titles in my opinion. (I wanted them both to lose lol) It sucks that Perkins was out for the Celtics, and like I've been saying I'm still waiting on us to win a title. I just hope we don't have to wait too long.

Yeah, I know. It is just awful

I was thinking of getting myself a Clippers flag for my car :)

I'm really upset the Lakers won. I despise that entire organization.
