OT: Gus Johnson call...I need your help!
This is one of those legendary calls we'll be hearing for years, and it's from the exciteable Gus Johnson.
I don't know if you've heard it on the radio yet, but he was doing the Knicks game at the Garden last night when the jumbotron starting playing the end of the Giants game as it was happening. The Garden got into it and started chanting for defense. Meanwhile Gus is actually doing play by play of both events.
"Curry at the free-throw line, Romo back to pass, INTERCEPTION!!!"
and in the background the Knicks crowd is going nuts.
It's side-splittingly hilarious.
When someone finds this online, we're gonna need a link.

I'd like to hear this too, but while we wait, could it possibly hold a candle to New York's most cherished, dramatic radio call ever?

God I hate you. I'm warning everybody else: It's Suzyn Waldman when Roger Clemens decided to come back, don't click on it!

Gosh, sorry. I always thought the Clemens call was so over-the-top bombastic and awful that it's funny. I did not mean harm anyone. Again, my apologies.

I like the video info: Radio chick thinks its "dramatic" that Roger Clemens would come back and pitch for $28 million.

I would like to hear it too but now with all the build up and effort people have been putting in to find it, are you sure its that good of a call? It just seems like one of those occasions where if someone found it and posted it at this point, it would be a let down cause I might not be as good as you remember.

...and its Gus Johnson!
One clip I never heard that I loved was when Larrivee and McCaren were doing the Denver-Packers game in 2003 and he did the play by play of the Cards-Vikings game where Nate Poole caught the TD. Totally had to be against league broadcasting rules, but they went nuts, and I loved it. Never ever could find that clip again...

I can't promise but I think I might have that clip on tape, the night of the Packers Broncos game I recorded a bunch of Packer highlights and stuff like that and I think they played the 620 clip with Wayne & Larry on TV to the Vikings Cardnials highlights on the news.
I'll have to check the tape in the near future and if that clip is on there i'll throw it on youtube,it realy is a great call.
I'd love to put a bunch of classic Packer stuff on youtube like I do with the Bucks but the NFL is so damn touchy about it.
Some of you guys might remember but there used to be a ton of great classic NFL stuff on youtube but the NFL and had them remove almost all of it.
