I'd be stoked with that, just as long as we don't do Klomp's trade on the trade board.

Was it really that bad? I think its more that people saw that I put George there that may have them thinking bad trade. I've been saying for a long time that there is NO WAY George falls to 16. I guess I have him rated higher than most.

Well it's a different mindset to walk away with Cousins and George, to just George + Jerebko. Jerebko and Daye have limited ceilings as both project to be role players. Jerebko will be a PF in the league and is not a fit, Daye a SF, though only if he ever pans out. Remember when Worm was worried about Cousins vertical? Well Daye's isn't any better and he's supposed to be a perimeter player. He's also painfully thin and is not going to be able to play defense in the NBA anytime soon.

Compare what we'd be getting from 4-7 to what Phili is asking for 2-4. Then note the difference in value is much bigger from 4-7 then it is from 2-4. If we're dropping from 4-7 we should be getting their pick next year, perhaps with top 3 protection.

That makes some sense. But remember, it would be Cousins/George/Prince vs. Al/George/Jerebko.

That's assuming we have to trade up to 7 to get George, which does not seem to be the case at all. When I here him in contention for the #8 pick, then we can think about that (he's working out for the Clips today), but as of now #16 plus #23 should be enough to net us George at #10 or some point there after.

I like them both, but give the edge to Henry. I think the higher floor argument makes some sense as to why. However, I also look at it as there's only 3 guys I see as true SGs worth taking in the upper half of the first (Turner, Henry, and Anderson) and only Turner and Henry seem well rounded enough to make an impact on both ends. I think George has loads of potential, but I see other SFs like Babbit and Hayward that aren't as steep of a drop off as it is with SG. Just my opinion and truthfully I'd love to see us come out of the draft with both.

I had to think about this for a few days before I voted. Ultimately I like them equally as prospects, so I went George because SF is a much greater need than SG.
