Who's so to say we're at that level to even attempt to discern something of that magnitude? We as humanity IMO have not reached that level yet to contemplate our own existence. Once we due though, I don't think we'd be in a Utopian Society per se, I just think we'd be at the level where we can conquer our own shortcomings, unite as a people, and have delved into at least some of the Universes contemplated mysteries with some level of successful understanding.

It might take us a couple of Decades, or even a Century or two...but it's something that we may think we're ready to answer...but IMO we're not.

What was battling the Persian(King Darius) for 21 days? Who came to the aid of the one who needed strength giving explanation as to why he was detained.

as a guess, i'd have to go with abraham or nimrod.

the way the "archangel" michael is referenced, i can't help but imagine "it" some sort of weapon. like an enola gay of ancient time per say. maybe he wanted to get his hands on "michael" to use it against his enemies.

I'm most likely wrong but I'll try to figure it out.

Who is the Prince of Persia and who is the Prince of Greece?

What was battling with both Princes?

Who's aid did the one who was battling come to?

Who is Micheal the Chief Princes?

1. the prince of persia is the guardian angel of the persians who according to his office was seeking the spiritual good of the persian people, was desirous to have the jews stay among them. the prince of the greeks can either be interpreted as their guardian angel or alexander who would later go on to route the persians.

2. the prince of persia.

3. the guardian angel of daniel

4. Micheal the arch angel guadian of the church as he was once of the synagauge

We're not ready for both.

We can't ask the proper questions, when we wouldn't know if the answers were proper when they're given. Meaning, once you can at least grasp the basic understandings of that which is life, and what it means to "be", then you can understand the answers that are given to the meaning of life questions.

To take that further, once you begin to explore those lines of mental evolution...you can begin to understand and ask even more advanced questions. A perpetual cycle to the next stages of evolution by finally understanding your current stage of evolution.

[/humble 2 cents]

Nimrod was long dead by then and in opposition to any ruler even a heavenly ruler. Abraham long dead too. But if it were either of them you're talking about 2 dead individuals who would have came back in another form to battle men ruling over Potent World Powers(Cyrus/Darius(Persians) and Alexander The Great(Greeks) were dominant in respect to who?...hold the thought here

One slight correction the King at the time was Cyrus of Persia....Darius was a successor to Cyrus.

If you read the preceding versus of Daniel 10(or start in 10) it describes someone appearing to Daniel as if like a man but overall appearance like something else. Daniel was the only one who could see him and not the other men around him. The individual in vision also mentioned he heard Daniel's words spoken above that more than likely occurred 21 days or more ago.

Since the battle lasted 21 days and the person in vision appears more grandiose than a fleshy man, how is it another man was able to detain him that long? Being that Micheal a Chief Prince had to get involved the forces must be extremely powerful. Two references we can use are....

Rev 12:7-9 Look this up it speaks of Michael again and when he gets involved what he battles against

(Written before the Book of Daniel BTW) 2 Kings 19:35 Look this up it explains the power of a particular force

Random things I like:

And shepherds we shall be,
for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.

And I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads, the names of blasphemy. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, "Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?

All outlined in the book of Prov chap 2, 3, and chap 8. Actually all of Prov touches on those 120's but in particular those 3 chapters. You know Solomon who wrote a few books himself including Prov had anything a man could want physically but cherished all of those 120's at the end of the day. It is crazy to read approximately how wealthy he was reading up on some secular works but he reason there must be more.

Late to the thread, just watched (part of) the video.

There is a pretty clear fossil record that shows the development of man from Australopithecus to Homo Habilis, to Homo Erectus to Homo Sapien to Homo Sapien Sapien.

But hey, V was a great TV show back in the day.

I believe part of that video:

I think that humans evolved on earth like scientists say, but in our early history Aliens visited modern day Iraq + Egypt and gave them the foundation of technology and some elementary wisdom so we wouldn't kill each other. Then they booked it and have been checking in periodically ever since to make sure we are alright.

Isn't that more likely?

Also explains why there were so many sightings in 1947-Roswell, etc. Because we were not alright - we just exploded our first nuke and launching our first space technology, becoming a problem to the space 'hood.

Pretty good breakdown. 2 and 3 should be the same answer except the way I asked it may have caused a little confusion.

Basically you had a angel of rank being sent from above to comfort Daniel about the state of the Jews and how God felt about his yrs of service and life he lived towards him. Daniel was up in age during this passage in the bible. He wanted reassurance the Jews would be able to be released from Babylonian captivity and once again have a chance at establishing worship as a chosen people. Along the way though this angel was held up by the Prince of Persia(you state a guardian angel of Persia) I say more so a fallen Angel who is involved with earthly affairs. We can reason it wasn't a man because no way say someone like Cyrus(fleshly man) has the power to detain a heavenly creature for 21 days when in 2 Kings as I linked a few post back..... states an Angel of rank from above has at a minimum the power to kill----->(did kill) 185,000(men) Assyrians in 1 night without any resistance. We also know it had to be a Spirit body because how would he be able to discern Greece's rise to power yrs in advance when the Babylonians were still ruling? I believe it was Darius who allowed the Jews to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple

But is it not interesting to note at least back then Angels were meddling in who controlled World Power. Or let's say they had strong vested interest in them? Ironically in Mat 4 The Kingdoms Of The World were offered up to Christ for an act of worship. Someone offered up the Kingdoms but how can this be if they weren't his to offer? And not once was it refuted that he didn't have them in his possession, although the offer was rejected.
