True, but the swelling will get worse by the game again, If he's as ineffective as past games, it will be very tough to beat Boston.

IMHO Bynums problem has nothing to do with his knee...i'll take him at 70% physically and 110% focus and effort.

Re: Bynum update
The drainage procedure can only help
He needs to be quicker on the pick and rolls and better on help defense
This will help him be quicker and more agile

Re: Bynum update
well, Boston isn't a run and gun team so that should help a bit with his play, but I'm also hoping he was sandbagging for the finals.

Re: Bynum update
It's better news than "Bynum knee drained, out 7-10 days because the needle mark didn't heal right"

Re: Bynum update
bynum has a tear so the fluid will return to his knees quickly. Kobe on the other hand has a strain which is no structural damage. Reason for kobe having fluid in his knee is from the wear and tear of 13 seasons.

i think he will be a force in this series. last series you can tell that he was still mobile when he was pissed off..
personally i think he was just saving himself for this series.

come on drew,we are counting on you...i know it's hard to move with that knee but he has to give us something. sadly i think how he performs in this series will determine if he is here with us next year or not.
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

Re: Bynum update
Some Sports Radio I have heard the past two days think Bynum may be playing up the injury... Ok I know there is some strategy to that but come on really?!
