He'd be an excellent pick for the Bengals at that slot, that's for damn sure. The Bengals are likely to have a much better time of it on draft day with all these juniors declaring.

Good for him, but I still need to finish reading the book.

Wake me when Phil Loadholt declares.

DeSean Jackson's officially in per Wiretap; I don't think a player's stock has ever hinged so much on his 40 time.

I can see & hear it now:

Roger Goodell: With the first pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select: DeSean Jackson, Wide Receiver, Cal.

Bill Parcells: How the hell did Cam get into the war room?!?!

I can totally see something this bad happening. Have they cut Jason Allen yet?

Per local media, Patrick Chung (S, Oregon) has filed early-entry papers. Confusing; he stands as probably a 4th/5th-rounder right now but could've been a first-day pick with another year of lighting people up.

Hold the phone: per Rivals, Michael Oher will RETURN to school rather than go through the draft.

Now, according to one of his family members, Patrick Chung will stay at school.

It's the correct move.
