And the fact that most of the time he has no clue what the **** he's talking about. It's like he does no research and expects his interviewees to explain everything to him because he's busy getting his diaper changed.

Summary of Larry King on Collin Cowherd:

LeBron will most likely stay in Cleveland because he's so involved and has so many ties there

Chicago is the runner up and has good chance

The Clippers have a 10% chance

Knicks are below those three teams

Does he say or imply that any of this is based on information from LeBron or just his guess?

Yanked from the air by ESPN perhaps?

Holy crap. I can't believe what Larry King said. He said LeBron just looks at his father as someone who "expended sperm," doesn't care who he is, etc.

Time for a soft bed at a retirement mental institution for Larry.

It really doesn't matter which teams are or aren't mentioned anymore because frankly when July 1st comes all bets are off. I know one thing, and that's the Knicks are gonna make a helluva pitch to LeBron and Bosh or whoever, you know it's gonna be one of the most epic FA pitches ever and I'm really looking forward to hearing about the kind of stuff they are going to do. We've all heard the reports that the Knicks front office believe if they can get LeBron and Bosh in a room "they might as well lock the door". I'm sure we're gonna bring up advantages to playing in NY that the FA's probably haven't even though of. You know guys haven been working on this epic pitch for years now and I can't wait to see it come to fruition. And if LeBron ultimately decides to go somewhere else, fine, f*ck him, I'll look forward to booing at his mere existence. Because ultimately I don't give a f*ck about LeBron James personally and professionally, I just care about the New York Knicks and he gives us the best chance to be great.

The Lakers have had multiple dynasties. Just like the Yankees. Players want to play there to be part of the great tradition of winning. They want to be part of the latest dynasty. Chicago has had ONE dynasty in almost 50 years. Jordan's. If you can't see the difference then I'm sorry.

Yeah, I see the difference. If u go on to read the rest of my post and comment on what's obvious in my eyes...it's that great players are about winning championships period. It's why they play. It comes first in their minds. And the last thing they think of when the season is over...did they get it done? And if not, why? "So then what can I do next season to get it?"

And so to me, I truly believe Lebron is a great player and thinks like a great player and he'll go where he feels he's closer to winning a championship. Does NY, NJ, Chicago offer him that? Does Miami, LAC, or anyone else?

It'll come down to his desire to win a championship more than his desire to be a savior of a franchise. But again, we all have our own opinions and it's what makes all of this fun!!

i think going to Larry King Live of all shows to be interviewed shows us what kind of image Lebron wants - a global image. and that image is bigger and comes a hell of a lot faster in New York.

So if he goes to NYC and never wins a ring....how's his Global Image then? And I'm in no way implying he'll never win one in NY cuz none of us know which team really gives him the best chance at a ring. But what if he goes to the Knicks and doesn't win at least one. Despite the NY fan's guarantees of at least one Ring with Lebron, let's just say he doesn't even get that one....or to be fair, let's say he knows it's a 50/50 chance...which could be the same odds he has on any other team, then is that risk worth it? I can see how it might be worth it. But...

...championships translate into Global Image. And don't give me the Tim Duncan comparison because we all know Big Tim stays away from the limelight but had he been as much of a media-whore as Lebron, he too would've been a global image, but big Tim chose to be what he is.

WADR that's a bad argument. LeBron going anywhere and not winning hurts his image.

What makes you think going to the Bulls is a great chance at a title? Difference is, when he wins one in Chicago, he'll be down 1-6. When he wins one in NY, he owns the city and has his legacy cemented. He's 1-0 on Ewing and 1-0 on all of the Knicks since 1973.

And if you think he feels going to play with Rose is so attractive and that the team will win for sure, you're fooling yourself. So even winning 1 is far from a given.

The Rose thing is out of hand now. Rose scores against a Cavs team that has nobody to defend him and everybody is buying this guy as a great player. He won ONE playoff game. I'm officially anti-Rose. It's stupid.

I can't wait till we have LeBron and Toney Douglas is getting into Rose and taking away half his game.

Let me make this part clear...i'm trying to 'guess' what Lebron is going to do based on what my opinion of how I've seen other championship caliber players handle themselves when it comes to the sport they play.

While you and many others have made it seem that he's so concerned about his image, i'm trying to argue that he just wants to win a championship...anywhere....and SOON.

So while you might look at it as Lebron 1 vs. Jordan 6...i just happen to believe he'd be thinking "Lebron James - championship player and man that's special."

A championship is a championship....special. His individual stats will determine where he stands among the greats and as a global icon...but he has to get that one championship first, regardless of where it is and he knows it. Getting a ring is priority ONE. That's allz I'm sayin.

I'm surprised that ESPN, and Larry King, and all the media even have the Clippers above the Knicks just cause LeBron mentioned them (when prompted by King).

I still think it's more telling that LeBron was so hush-hush about NY and the Knicks (he only mentioned Bloomberg cause King brought him up, but then immediately deflected the conversation to Obama). Especially since 3 times in the conversation he mentioned how he'd want to play with another star FA, and that any team with him and another FA would be great. Reminds me of that guy who doesn't want to let his friends know that he's really into this one girl so he can still come across as a major player.

LeBron wants to be the best ever. If he just gets a ring than its not enough especially in Chicago with the person who hes trying to reach has 6. In NY hell be further away from that and be in an arguably better position to win. If he wins 3-4 here he will be in discussion for best ever. In Chicago, because of all the hype Rose gets, because he would have (presumably) Bosh, because he is under MJs shadow it will never be close to the same.
