there is talk that he'll be done on cnn once his contract is up in a year or so

And the fact that most of the time he has no clue what the **** he's talking about. It's like he does no research and expects his interviewees to explain everything to him because he's busy getting his diaper changed.

So if he goes to NYC and never wins a ring....how's his Global Image then? And I'm in no way implying he'll never win one in NY cuz none of us know which team really gives him the best chance at a ring. But what if he goes to the Knicks and doesn't win at least one. Despite the NY fan's guarantees of at least one Ring with Lebron, let's just say he doesn't even get that one....or to be fair, let's say he knows it's a 50/50 chance...which could be the same odds he has on any other team, then is that risk worth it? I can see how it might be worth it. But...
...championships translate into Global Image. And don't give me the Tim Duncan comparison because we all know Big Tim stays away from the limelight but had he been as much of a media-whore as Lebron, he too would've been a global image, but big Tim chose to be what he is.

Let me make this part clear...i'm trying to 'guess' what Lebron is going to do based on what my opinion of how I've seen other championship caliber players handle themselves when it comes to the sport they play.
While you and many others have made it seem that he's so concerned about his image, i'm trying to argue that he just wants to win a championship...anywhere....and SOON.
So while you might look at it as Lebron 1 vs. Jordan 6...i just happen to believe he'd be thinking "Lebron James - championship player and man that's special."
A championship is a championship....special. His individual stats will determine where he stands among the greats and as a global icon...but he has to get that one championship first, regardless of where it is and he knows it. Getting a ring is priority ONE. That's allz I'm sayin.
