Love to beat them, then sign Ray Allen to a 3 year or so deal, I think he's got alot left as a role player in his career.

How much more do you think the Lakers have though? Kobe is not getting any younger and his current injury prone body isn't getting younger. Plus he just signed for a huge salary pay for the next 3 to 4 years. They have 2 players at big salaries too (Gasol and Bynum). Is there enough cap space to get skilled players at other positions? Also the rest of the West is getting better. OKC has big things coming to them if those young kids stay together.

yeah but kobe's injuries i think are more of a factor of him not taking time off in the offseason than just age. if he starts taking the summer off, i think his body will hold up better. the core of the lakers kobe/pau/bynum/odom/artest are all signed for another 3 years. i think most of them can play at the same level or close to it for that long...........bynum getting better, pau & odom staying the same and maybe a slight drop off for kobe and artest in year 3. then there's the rumors of a bynum for bosh trade which might be happening if the lakers are weary of bynum's injury history. we'll see how it works out but i think the lakers have at least another 3 year window after this.

Hey CX (unleasHell here) how are you?

Did you see when the Bulls were going to interview McHell?

Follow this conspiracy theory:

The Bulls hire McHell, sign Lebron, fire Paxton, promote McHell to GM, he trades Lebron to Boston for KG and Pierce...LOL

I think the C's will be very competitive if they keep this core group because they play such good defense.
This group will contend for another 1-2 years if KG stays healthy.

All the off season stuff is pointing to an East coast team pairing up a few good players. That can't be good for the Celts. Shuffling the deck resets things. Truth be told when the league shuffles this off-season its bad for the Lakers too.

Bout our team will be ready for any new enemy that may come along. IF we do win 3 more, I'm not sure Boston will be able to stop Wade, Howard, LeBron and whomever they team up with. Especially when all these guys have a bone to pick with Boston.

All that screaming, those broom comments, the Euros they punked, the bloodied Bulls... that stuff will come back to haunt Boston if we can expose their weaknesses. Those guys are waiting for the blueprint.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

I would hope they could limp their way back to the Finals just 1 more time. There would be nothing sweeter than beating them to tie them in overall titles.
