Cleveland-Toronto-Portland (Bosh to Cleveland)
Short version
Toronto dumps Bosh, Hedo, and Calderon for expiring contracts, Delonte's Dampier type of contract, 3 future first round picks, and Rudy Fernandez/JJ Hickson for the future.
Toronto Trades
-Chris Bosh
-Hedo Turkoglu
-Jose Calderon
Toronto Gets
-Joel Pryzbilla (Insurance might be covering 80% of his expiring contract)
-Andre Miller (expiring contract)
-Telfair/Moon ($6 million in expiring contracts)
-JJ Hickson
-Rudy Fernandez
-2 future 1st round picks from Cleveland (2012 and 2014)
-2011 1st round pick from Portland
-Shaq signed to a essentially a 1 year/$9 million deal where Shaq is eventually bought-out later in the year
Cleveland Trades
-Anderson Varejao
-Mo Williams
-JJ Hickson
-Delonte West's contract
-Moon/Telfair
-2 future 1st round picks
Cleveland Gets
-Chris Bosh
-Hedo Turkoglu
-Jose Calderon
Portland Trades
-Joel Pryzbilla
-Andre Miller
-Rudy Fernandez
-2011 1st round pick
Portland Gets
-Mo Williams
-Anderson Varejao
Why Cleveland does it
-For obvious reasons. They pay tons of money, but they ironically end up the big winner in all of this free-agency talk.
Why Portland does it
-They get a nice deal out of this. Varejao and Mo are great fits for their team and all they really give up is Bayless and a future 1st
Why for Toronto
-They get to clear all of their bad contracts off their books and they get 2 youngters and 3 future picks in return.
It is a complicated deal and financially there may need to be some minor tweaking but that is the basis of it.

Bosh would get his extra $30 million while playing for a team that could potentiall win multiple titles. Would Bosh really go somewhere else for $30 million less?

Where does Portland send Bayless?

Bosh, Jamison and Turkoglu together. I've never seen so many power forwards play out of position. This is great for Portland, almost too great for Toronto, if this is what it takes for Cleveland to keep LeBron then they do it. If this was real it would be up to Bosh, but as far as having LeBron and Jamison, I don't think Jose, Turk and Titty Gibson make a championship team just yet.

Then Portland would have LMA and Varejao at PF. Nice problem to have but confusing.

Why would Bosh go to Cleveland and not NY or Miami? Plus Cleveland skims their roster with this and becomes (clearly) the worst winning combo for LeBron James.

Because at the end of the day it will be very hard for Bosh to leave $30 million on the table...ESPECIALLY when you have the chance to play with LeBron and a bunch of other really good players, even if it is in Cleveland.
Your 2nd part makes no sense. This is obviously under the impression that LBJ re-signs with Cleveland and convinces Bosh that playing in Cleveland with an extra $30 million isn't so bad.

They could go to NY, Miami or Chicago and have much better chances to win and not have to stay in Cleveland.

Re: Cleveland-Toronto-Portland (Bosh to Cleveland)
-Varejao also plays Center. He can play both. Trust me...you want Varejao on your side when you go up against the Lakers in a 7 game series.
-The Legynd, I meant all Portland gives up is Fernandez. Bayless may be a guy that gets added and shipped to Toronto though...depending on whether or not he is a deal-buster. I would assume that Toronto/Cleveland would ask that he be part of the deal and maybe have Telfair shipped to Portland to even things out.
As far as Turkoglu/Calderon/Jamison/Bosh all being on the same team, I agree that it isn't ideal in terms of team makeup. You do want to get tougher. However you can trade Calderon and/or Jamison somewhere else for players on equally bad contracts that round out the roster a bit more. Regardless, that is a damn good team. It would cost Gilbert and the good men from China a pretty penny...but I think most of us can agree that it would be well worth it.

I disagree with you completely on New York. As for Miami and Chicago, can they get the full 6-year max for both of those guys? Can they create that type of cap-space? And would LeBron James push for that over bringing Bosh to his home-town? And how much influence would Toronto have? Certainly they would push for the Cleveland deal over anything Chicago and Miami could give and they could hold that extra $30 million as leverage. It's not as easy as you are making it out to sound.

Im not going to get into the Knicks thing but with the Miami(who have capspace for both, I think theres a chance there. Bulls I dont see either but Miami is a definite possibility.

But would LeBron want to go to Miami with Wade and Bosh? I don't know. And if you spent $17 million for each of them, how are you going to fill out the team? You would have something like $3-5 million left to round out the roster.

With Wade, LeBron and Bosh all you need is a couple of vets like Kurt Thomas and some NBDL rookies and youre set to go.

Where does Toronto sign up for this deal? We get rid of Turkeypoo and Calderon+Draft picks.....+JJ, Bryan is actually breaks his ankle trying to run to the phone. Hell, I would even let Portland keep there pick, if they wanted it.

Re: Cleveland-Toronto-Portland (Bosh to Cleveland)
So this deal leaves Cleveland with a roster of:
Calderon/Gibson
Parker/Turkoglu/Green
James/J.Williams
Bosh/Jamison/Powe
Z/MLE
Yet Toronto ends up with a roster of:
Miller/Jack/Telfair/Banks
DeRozan/Fernandez/Belinelli
Moon
Hickson/Evans
Bargnani/Oneal/Pryzbilla
Cleveland is giving up too much considering how much salary they are taking on, especially when you factor in Cleveland giving up two future first round picks. Toronto will not be quite that lucky if Bosh pushes for a S&T.

Re: Cleveland-Toronto-Portland (Bosh to Cleveland)
I don't think Cleveland could give up enough to get Chris Bosh in a Cleveland uniform to be honest.
With that being said, I think there are 2 changes that could be made if Cleveland has a HUGE problem with paying that much money....
1. Replace Calderon with Jack and then Cleveland keeps Telfair and Moon to make up for the difference in salary.
2. Jamison goes to Toronto while Pryzbilla and Miller come to Cleveland. Both are expiring contracts and both could be key players.
With that being said I think Cleveland has to do what they can do in order to get Bosh. Pairing Bosh with LeBron on a team that would have good supporting players is a dream. Cleveland could then sign a big like Haslem to a MLE type of deal, Z to a LLE/Vet Min type of deal (with assurance of a starter position back) and all of a sudden you have a team like this...
PG: Jose Calderon
SG: Anthony Parker
SF: LeBron James
PF: Chris Bosh
C: Zydrunas Ilgauskas
With a LOADED bench...
-Hedo Turkoglu
-Antawn Jamison
-Daniel Gibson
-Udonis Haslem
-Leon Powe (can't wait to see him a year removed from knee surgery)
-Jawad Williams
-Danny Green
Cleveland could even look to deal Jamison for an equally expensive contract that evens out the roster a little bit more.

Actually, the assistant GM, Chris Grant, is taking over.
