This shows me that we are missing one key element:

A consistent 6th inning relief option. We have five solid relievers:

Villanueva: Good in long relief
Shouse: Lefties
Wise: Solid in the 7th, not necessarily a 2 inning option.
Turnbow: 8th
Cordero: 9th.

We need a consistent 6 or 7th inning option other than Wise.

Make it happen Doug.

I really believed Aquino could be that guy. He really has some good stuff. Problem is that if he falls behind in the count... its a lost cause.

What about giving YO-GO a shot? :D

Villy can definitely pitch middle relief. If we had Latin Cappy instead of Spurling I think our pen would look very good.

Dessens is also a complete waste at this point.

Yeah Dessens is worthless right now so lets drop him. I don't get why they don't try him actually in the 6th ever.

Fielder or Hall will answer with a blast of their own! :)

If he's done "teaching him a lesson" Capellan could be swapped for Spurling.
