Everyone see this vid of reporter handing James Knicks hat and James saying it represents "greatness" :D

how are the knicks the most storied franchise in the nba?

IMO, they maybe might crack the top 10.

Jealous?

No, he has a point. The Knicks aren't the most storied franchise in the NBA. That belongs to the Lakers and Celtics.

But they are an original NBA franchise, a franchise that has a solid history mixed in with great moments (championships, Reed limping out, Ewing era) and a legendary arena. Oh and they happen to be in one of the most famous cities in the world and probably the most famous in the United States today.

So they got that going for them.

Why would I be jealous of an inferior organization that hasn't won anything in 30+ years?

In other words, you are jealous and since you're also acting like a fool, I am happy that you're jealous.

Now run along.

If you think the Knicks are a storied franchise, I believe you're the fool. And if you think I'm jealous for telling you the truth, maybe your just in denial.

Anyways, have a nice day!

You're a tool.

You're not "baiting" yet you come on to this forum to laugh at certain notions about the Knicks, erstwhile having your lame signature quoting delusional Knicks posters for humorous reasons. No, all Knick fans do not think like those two and no, all Knick fans do not think we are the greatest NBA franchise ever.

But I do know what you need to do - GTFO.

And I think you're wrong to be categorizing his signature quotes as awful and concluding that the posters who made them are homers who represent us Knicks fans badly. These quotes were taken out of context from a larger discussion and there's nothing that outlandish about them anyway.

The first quote is bad. That's the truth.

Sorry, I love Gallo too but I wouldn't choose him over Chris Bosh or even Joe Johnson as a 2nd fiddle. He's just not there yet. Not even close.

Yeah but we don't know what came before he made that quote or the context. Maybe he didn't mean between Bosh and Gallo. Or maybe he has his reasons. I don't personally think that Gallo will be a perennial All-Star but he hasn't shown us enough yet to say he won't be for certain.

This guy is just jealous of Gallo too. lol. He is counting on LeBron, I guess, and doesn't want the competition. So Gallo and LeBron's quote about 'greatness' threaten him for whatever reason.

But we'll just have to see. The Knicks have at least got a shot and that bothers this guy. Frankly he's trolling with his signature alone but I guess people have looked the other way on him.

The bottom line is that nobody can count on LeBron.

I saw the Larry King interview and it seems to me that he's probably leaving. So he's nobody's lock, that's for sure.

I don't know -- he said "Whatever team I go to" a couple of times and then caught himself and said "or I could stay" ... I guess that's not huge but he definitely hasn't ruled out leaving. Let's put it that way.

And I thought he sounded like he's out of there for the most part.

It doesn't bother me one bit. And my sigs weren't taken out of context. But one thing for sure though is I'm not jealous of gallo, a player that does nothing well except being a "shooter", yet he can only do that at a 40% clip. His 3 point shooting is nice, but I'd rather have my power forward bang inside and rebound. Gallo's a poor mans bargnani

Anyways, I'm out. I'll definitely be back the next time I need a sig, though

dont get me wrong, the perfect storm has happened for him to leave...but at the end of the day, i dont think he has the guts to go play in NY and all the pressures that would come with it, he doesnt have it in him to make the jump (part loyalty, part of it is fear of failure)

This guy ... he's special. If when LeBron comes to the Knicks, this is the kind of guy you need security for.

Well I'm pretty confident in saying LeBron's not coming to the knicks. He'll probably stay in cleveland, IMO

What's so terrible with that statement? Outside of the corridors of the knicks forum, Gallo and Bargnani are actually very comparable.

Except that Bargnani's better right now
