OT: Fantasy football?

Post#1 » by Reddeye » Thu Jun 3, 2010 5:59 pm

I know a lot of you guys play fantasy football. Our league is switching to a free site to manage our league this year. I know ESPN, Yahoo, and Fox Sports offer free league managers. I was wondering what you guys thought is a good site to use that is free. Anyone have any experience using the league manager on ESPN, Yahoo, or Fox?

Yahoo is the one I use (for the first five weeks before losing interest) the most. I guess I can't say anything bad about it.

I've played on Yahoo for years and like it quite a bit.

I've always done Yahoo. Going on my 8th or 9th year.

I prefer ESPN to Yahoo myself, though NFL.com has revamped their offering (featuring lots of video highlights), so I'm giving that a look this year.

This is a money league with about $500 going to the winner. I don't think I will lose interest too early unless my teams tanks quickly.

Yahoo is great as they made a new phone app this year for fantasy football.

I've been using yahoo from day 1 and have tryed others but have not really liked them b/c yahoo is formatted the best possible or maybe I'm just used to it, IDK but use yahoo. Stay away from cbs sportsline, i tried it last year for the first time and it is by far the worst and just couldn't stand it.

I'm surprised by all of the people that use yahoo (guess I didnt know it was the most popular for fantasy football) as I have also used yahoo for probably the last 6 years or so. I definitely think the format is the best as I've tried espn and foxsports and neither was as good as yahoo imo. Can't wait for fantasy football 2010!

I read somewhere that you have to pay for live scoring on Yahoo. Is this true? There are owners in my league that want live scoring. They like to follow their teams on Sunday as do I.

I love they have the chat with the live scoring. Good for some smack talk.
