I agree that Steph Curry and Morrow are, but not Ellis.

May sound kinda nutty, but this I think gives us the room for 2 max deals...too bad it doesn't work in the trade checker lol.

I'm gonna work out a 3 team deal with GSW/Ind/NJN or GSW/Mem/NJN where we end up with Curry and 2 lotto picks lol. I'm so awesome today.

That has no chance as GSW would not be that keen on Harris, who they'd trade elsewhere, leaving Ellis at PG. The jump from 6 to 3...Cousins fans may like. I'm not sold on Favors. After a slow start the Curry / Ellis backcourt was cookin' and is SO Nellie that he's gonna want to see it with the first string big men and #6.

To get Curry...you need to offer a deal so FREAKY GSW has to accept. Brook L is the only chip with that kind of impact and you don't wanna do that.

Actually...maybe Ellis especially. LeBron is remarkably FAST for his size. Monta is remarkably fast for ANY size. Both can do a ton of scoring and or dish assists.

There's the long shot...LeBron does a 1 year deal with GSW at MLE. Deep Pockets Ellison buys GSW,buys a nice vinyard in Napa, hires LeBron as Manager at a nice sum,in a year gives LeBron a max deal and a cheap 100 yr lease on the Vinyard. Meanwhile LeBron and the GSW young Run+ Gun core can raise hell, and have much better depth, future than the Cavs. Vinyard in Napa/ Cold winds off Lake Eire? NYC traffic?

Open a bottle of King James Cabernet, Watch the Warriors blow away the Lakers in the playoffs....how sweet.

Okay...just foolin' with ya.

FYI...Morrow is an RFA and covered by Bird except and Arenas rule. MLE is the fattest offer anyone can make and GSW can let you wait a week in the peak of Free agency..then match. Morrow....with a career 46% from 3 and a great work ethic..is a keeper, enough so I doubt anyone bothers to bid.

I think there will definitely be multiple teams that make an offer to Morrow, especially a contender type that really needs a dead eye shooter, that type of team can afford the risk of their MLE tied up for a week even if GSW matches.

Morrow and Buike can be legit starters in the right system but have never really gotten any opportunity with Monta and Curry on the floor 35+ minutes a game.

Watson is a solid backup and has proven he can score.

I'm sure you like this trade, it's horrid for NJ and there isn't a snowball chance in hell our FO would consider it.
Sorry for being a little harsh, I know you didn't come up with the idea, but it's really terrible.

BTW, its a mooot point anyway, Buike and Morrow can't be traded, one has a player option the other is a restricted free agent, so the idea is D.O.A.

Azu exercised his option. Frankly I like Monroe and am the least in favor of paying 2 or 3 assets to move up for a bigger risk guy.. If Cousins showed up at the combine trim and in shape, He'd be worth something. If he's gonna bloat to 290...rather have Monroe. As for Randolph, the Nets ain't gonna offer what it takes.

A failed shot at Morrow can mean a team misses out on plan B and plan C. That's why it's not unusual for a RFA that's interesting to not get a bid. Sometimes too there's a bid but it's too low ball. A player can get locked in at a low sum,so he does not submit it. CJ Watson could have submitted a bid but unless the deal was bigger than likely..GSW matches and he's a backup PG for years.

FWIW...watching Wall I naturally tended to compare to Ellis. Ellis does whichever mission is his job and with Curry around, and an early offense strategy, he does not need to Avg 9 asst.. Short handed..he was asked to try to score 30+

Relative to any other college team, Wall had Major finishers in the paint, 2 lotto bigs, who mostly needed feeds. GSW does not have that sort of style or personel. Aside from the passing part,Monta has all Wall's moves and a dozen more. Wall however is younger (a bit) and might catch up in a few years. He's no Kidd. he's closer to Harris and Ellis.

Since we are talking small for big, I don't think Curry for #3 is bad value either. But considering you can sit tight and have Monroe or Cousins fall into your lap, I can't blame GSW for not being interested in Curry for Favors. I personally think Monroe is a very nice fit for you guys.

If the Nets were to trade down, I think MIN/SAC are much better fits since they can better afford to move young bigs, have cap room and leave NJ in a position to take Wesley Johnson.
