I don't think I was asking when will Adam Morrison take Kobe's starting job, I was asking Lakers fans who may have watched him if they think the guy has any potential to make any sort of impact in the League going forward. This was not a post attempting to gauge Morrisons value to a Lakers championship run this year.

I watched the vid, dosen't seem like he juked, it's not like walton pulled a move on.

Thanks Luke for what? :o

It was during a preseason game against the lakers when he tore his acl. Luke juked him so badly that he tore his acl

A couple things: One, why is it funny when a player tears an important ligament in his knee? Even if it happened against a comparably slow, white, goofy player like Walton, it's still not funny when a player suffers a serious, potentially career-threatening injury. To me at least.

Also, regarding an earlier poster's remark about Redick (one D) reinventing his game upon entering the league, he didn't become a reliably productive player until this year. Adam Morrison, in the right situation, could flourish--assuming he recovers from that injury. Not an all-star player, but at least a solid role player. Though I don't see it happening in LA. Y'all have too many good players as it is; he'll never see time in California unless he gets sent to the Clippers--or Sacramento, or Golden State. Your state has a lot of teams.

At any rate, as a die-hard Magic fan, I really hope you guys crush Boston. Thanks for winning Game 1. Sweep those geezers, please.

It is my understanding that he is 6-8, shoots 3's, is a former College stand out and lottery pick.

Now I'm asking Lakers fans who've maybe seen this guy in garbage time, does this guy have a future on this team or in this L. (and no ivory tower discussions here I want a realistic answer)

As a Bobcats fan let me tell you about Morrison. Morrison might be a good shooter but not against the speed and length of the NBA game. Look at his percentages. Morrison is slow and uncoordinated. Morrison can't defend anyone in the NBA. Morrison will be playing in Europe in a year or two.

Im the biggest Morrison fan ever haha......He just hasnt been given a real chance. He did avg. 11.8 ppg here in CLT and he did fine. He took over some games for us in 06-07 and looked amazing. Then the ACL injury happened and it was devastating. He looked great in the preseason before that and alot of people we saying how big of an imapct he would have in his second yr. Unfortunatley, he wasnt rehabbed correctly(evidently...) and it really messed him up.
Larry Brown traded him probably because he was too slow and white(I think he may be againest white players lol), and I mean its great for him that he ended up in LA with the greatest coach and player of all time, but he just isnt getting minutes in LA. I really hope he signs elsewhere this summer(Maybe LeBron will recruit him to join on in NY or something? :D). Given the minutes, I think he can contribute....I just want to see him play on a regular basis again.

And you guys shouldn't try to say he's on drugs or whatever...he's just a quiet guy. I have met him before and he was a really nice guy. I talked to him and told him about how I have followed him since college and whatever and he seemed really appreciative.

Here's to ring number two for adam! and ring #5 for KOBEEEEE!!!!

When players finally meet their only fan they usually show gratitude. LOL. No, I think AM can be a player in this league on the right team. Look at Channing Frye lighting it up in Phoenix after rotting on the bench in Portland. I also think AM being diabetic has something to do with his "drugged out look". My daughter is diabetic and gets that way once in a while. Being "low" will do that to you.

Adam Morrison could be an all-star if the Lakers played him.

So would everyone he defended.

I want Ammo to succeed as much as anyone... In fact I would absolutely love him to take Sasha's minutes from him as a pure shooter... But I have to say, it isn't very likely at this point.

He used to make some awesome commercials for EA Sports. I'll give him that.

Kobe Bryant's ball hogging has hindered this stud's growth. he will be a legit 1st option next season playing for the Knicks. book it.

Ammo can be a scorer in this league, he just needs to get into a rhythm and play consistent minutes with a defined role.

Cant convince me that such a ridiculous scorer in college has lost his basketball skills overnight.

Sad thing is he'll be perfect for our second unit and likely he'll never get the chance to develop here.
