Rudy Gay to Spurs

How are the Spurs planning this? I can't see it happening at all. The Spurs have no one to give the Grizzlies in return.

Who says we're trading for Rudy Gay? Is there even a link? This is the first I hear about it.

Just saw the article from New York Post.

It's no secret that we want to get younger and more athletic. Problem is, I'm not sure Rudy Gay is the answer to it. In any case, trading for Gay most likely means we trade Jefferson too. I can't imagine the Spurs trading Tony Parker for Rudy Gay in some sort of a straight up deal.

No way... Jefferson makes 15 mil next year. Which means a straight up sign and trade means Gay gets a starting salary of either 12 or 13 mil. That could translate into something like a 5 year 65 mil deal type. Gay's good and all, but not that good. And he fixes nothing.
