Also, can people please update their rosters? So many rosters are inaccurate, it gets confusing seeing Reggie Evans on 3 different teams!

Randy Foye (S&T, contract info in FA thread)

for

2011 MIN 1st (top 10 protected in 2011, unprotected in 2012)

We fill that last hole on our team, Foye can play beside both Westbrook and Roy, and we believe that he will revert back to last years form (16/4/3, 36% 3P% on 4.4 attempts). We add some more 3 point shooting, size (6'4) and a solid 6th man for this team.

Accepted. We weren't really expecting to get anything in return for any of our FAs and weren't expecting to sign any of them either, so this is just a bonus.

I think the quoted deal is the revised deal, and the nonquoted part is the original deal.

In a follow-up trade, The Hawks and Grizzlies have come to an agreement on a Trade:

Atlanta Gets:
Anthony Randolph $1,965,720
Kenny Hasbrouck $750,000 (ungaranteed)
Malik Hairston $750,000 (ungaranteed)
Alonzo Gee $750,000 (ungaranteed)
Curtis Jerrells $750,000 (ungaranteed)
Kyle Weaver $750,000 (ungaranteed)
TOTAL = $ 5,715,720

Atlanta Trades:
Josh Childress S&T (signed to a 5-year MLE contract)
Rights to Stanley Robinson

Grizzlies Trade:
Anthony Randolph $1,965,720
Kenny Hasbrouck $750,000 (ungaranteed)
Malik Hairston $750,000 (ungaranteed)
Alonzo Gee $750,000 (ungaranteed)
Curtis Jerrells $750,000 (ungaranteed)
Kyle Weaver $750,000 (ungaranteed)

Grizzlies Get:
Josh Childress S&T (signed to a 5-year MLE contract)
Rights to Stanley Robinson

Atlanta Accept. We love Randolph and his potential. I think his athleticism will go well with the likes of Josh Smith, Horford and Teague. Josh Childress, although very savvy and experienced, didn't fit into our plans and we wish him the very best.

Does ATL have enough roster spots to do the deal, or are there no limits during the offseason?

Not any limits during the offseason but at certain point of the game it should be down to 15...

I think Atlanta does have the space. But regardless, we can go over 15 players provided by the time Free Agency closes, rosters have a min of 12 and max of 15 players.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

NETS-KNICKS BLOCKBUSTER

Nazr Mohammed 6.8 million
Jarred Jeffries 6.8 million
Total 13.6 million

Image Image

for

Eddy Curry 11.3 million
3 million Cash

Image

11.3 million x 1.25 + 100k = 14.2 million > 13.6 million. Trade works.

Nets do this for three reasons;
1. Save money. 13.6 million - 11.3 million = 2.3 million + 3 million cash = 5.3 million cash savings. Plus additional savings if Curry agrees for a buyout to join a contender.
2. Motivate Cousins by giving him a picture of how he will look like on his worst case scenario.
3. Waste bandwith than do nothing.

^^^^

The Knicks agree to the above deal. While its not exactly what I was looking for when looking for front court depth I couldn't turn this deal down.

Grizz accept. While we like Randolph, he was part of a logjam at the PF position. Childress gives us a great SG off the bench to provide defense and intangibles, something we felt our team was lacking.

BTW, commish, what are the exact terms of Childress' contract?

The Pacers and Kings have agreed to a blockbuster deal.

Indiana Trades/Sacramento Receives
Ekpe Udoh $2,168,520
Tyler Hansbrough $1,986,600
Daequan Cook $2,169,857
2011 Indiana 1st
2012 Portland 2nd

Sacramento Trades/Indiana Receives
Carl Landry $3,000,000
*Sacramento is under the salary cap so the trade works

I think that this trade officially pushes Indiana into the status of contender. I sacrifice a lot of the mini youth movement I had going, but now my core of Granger-Arenas-Landry are all 26 or 27 years old. I also still have DeRozan and Hibbert, so I really do still have a young team. I am really sorry to see Udoh and Hansbrough go, but this trade makes my starting lineup so much better that I think it is worth it.

Also, just as clarification, Udoh's salary is 120% of the rookie scale for the 10th pick.
