A slap in the face of 100 fans. The rest of them got a kiss on the cheek.

Yeah, let's see how many Laker jerseys will be sitting in these seats...

This is true, and i've said as much. This change is great news for me. The going price for buying my seat rights is at least a few thousand bucks right now. I spend over 10,000 a year on my two seats and concessions but I still think that these 100 club people should be treated way better then me. They bring in SOOOOO much money to the Jazz that the Jazz should take great care of them and not try and screw them.

As I see it, the Jazz still get the same amount from a ticket transfer from the fee, it's just the ticket holder that doesn't make a load of money off the buyer. So, I don't care about whiny millionaires and consider it an investment gone south, just like almost every other investment in the last couple years. And if it was scalpers, then they are getting what they deserve. Wah.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT TRYING TO MAKE TONS OF MONEY! This i trying not to LOSE tons of money. I hear the stupid argument of, well they can still buy there season tickets for the same price as they always have. Thats not the point. The point is that these people had to bay a fortune just for hte rights to buy the season tickets, now if they ever decide they don't want the tickets anymore they are stuck with that massive loss. It is like buying a nice boat. Ya it cost you 50,000 new, and 1000 a year to run but if after a few years you don't want it anymore you sell it for 40,000 and get most of your money back.
